Anyone have a suspension fault ever?

I had the ford performance W springs installed 6 weeks Ago at a ford dealer. Everything was great till 2 days ago got the suspension fault message.

I sure have! The first thing I recommend checking is your ABS sensors and ABS rings in the rear. Are they gunked up and dirty? If so, clean them really good with brake and parts cleaner and wipe them down with a rag as well. Take it for a test drive (30-50 miles) and see if the fault clears.

Secondly, it could also be Magneride sensor related. If cleaning the ABS component to don’t work, inspect sensors and linkage for Magneride. You may either have to replace or delete them. See thread here.

I got that once, after some DIY suspension work. IIRC it was a disconnected line that I neglected to plug in. Check that your lines are connected and connectors locked securely. Check that nothing has rubbed on an electrical line.

The fault is intermittent so I think there’s a loose connection somewhere. It’s been working most of today. Dropping it with the dealer tomorrow morning.

Mischievous purple is almost black in the shade and with ANY thin clouds. Only purple with the sun high in the sky. Blue with sun low in the sky.
