. Wengerd estimates 790whp on e85 and 720 whp on 93 (98). I run a Hoosier DBR which has been an awesome tyre, the goal is mid 5 second range 60-130mph on the e85 roll race tune, hope I can make it happen! Will eventually get it dynod to get an exact power level.
I think you are going to be more north of 790whp on E85.

It’s almost summer here! I live here in Adelaide so KPM built my car from scratch with the Whipple and all supporting mods including the FI interchiller (not killer chiller). They did an awesome job on my car they’re probably the best Mustang guys in Australia especially now with this easy returnless quality fuel system. They also tuned it great as per the fuel system installation video posted by them (that’s my car:) but I went with Wengerd after as I wanted his specific roll racing tune. Now looking for solid 60-130 times at roll racing on the Wengerd custom roll race tune which will allow me to start in the selected gear and no need to flick the gear lever from S to D following the hit. I must say Wengerds 98 and e85 tunes are excellent too.
David from KPM is a stand up guy. The only issue I am working on, when my car is hot and I turn off for around 20 minutes, the car starts but then stumbles and shuts down. My second try alway works fine. I noticed at these times the fuel pressure is 120psi all other starts it is around 70psi. I am also installing FI Interchiller thermal heat spacers for the plenum to head. The whipple is like a heat sink and absorbs heat from the heads. Which FI Interchiller did you go with? I went with a stage 2 which adds an extra condensers and fan.

Mine is just the stage 1 base FI interchiller set up (I think it’s an Australian company based in the US now?). My Reische thermostat I think helps keep cyl head temps down as well. My car is driving like OEM hope I get in the 5 sec range 60-130 come Nov 30!

Nice. I plan on buying one for this Spring and get some times myself. Post when You get some times
I will definitely do that as someone else said I must be over 790whp on e85 and as I have a great tyre now (DBR Hoosier 28 x 10.5 x 18) I’m hoping to crack the 5s 60-130. This has always been my goal nothing too radical but rather an allrounder that can get me close to the 9s in the 1/4 but also drives well in the canyons on 98 (93).

I mount the DBR Hoosiers on a 18 x 10.5 inch rim ET +48 (SF7 Koya rims, Australian company) but I’ll be needing beadlocks because they spin in the tyre.

Even though i am running 325/30/19 Toyo R888R, I cannot turn my TC off.

I am going to get Beadlocks and matching front. The dbr is most likely what I will go with "IF" I don't try Track attack Pro first on my 19" wheels.

With the Wengerd tunes I have to have TC on on the street even with the 93 tune lol. The DBR Hoosier here is not street legal but I like the R888R tyre for the street it’s a great all round tyre. Will definitely look at Hoosier track attack tyres for the street to compare to R888R tyres, wonder if any boosted stang ran the track attack tyre?

I hope so before I make a decision in December. If they are not better than R888R then I will buy the dbr and 18" beadlocks.

check these out also John. You would have to get an 18 inch rim , but pretty hard to beat these in australia. When I’m at Brisbane roll racing I’d say 80% of cars are running them now. Even all the big dollar 1500hp cars run them.
ā€˜my mate has a 10r80 , roush stage 2.... 700+hp at the tyres and runs CRS tyres for roll racing and they don’t spin at all. Small burnout before each race to hear them up and they are sweet.

Don’t forget Hoosier make the DBR in 17 inch as well but I couldn’t run 17 inch as I have the 4 piston Willwood brakes on rear.
