Greetings,

I have a 2022 Mustang GT Premium with a manual transmission. I have recently installed the Ford Track Pack Kit with Steeda min drop springs. I also have installed on my Mustang the BMR Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit & Differential Bushing Kit. Unfortunately my Mustang makes all kinds of clunking noises when shifting or driving slowly over rough roads and bumps. I was thinking of removing the BMR stuff and installing the Steeda Stop the Hop Starter Kit.

For those of you who have installed the Steeda Stop The Hop Starter Kit, how do you like it? Has it helped with wheel hop, and has it created any additional noises or vibrations? I am pretty sure my clunking noises are a BMR issue.

Thanks..............

I have the complete steeds stop the hop kit.along with there progressive lowering springs, with matching struts and shocks. As most will tell you anytime you stiffen up a suspension with solid mounts, polyurethane bushings . You will definitely get more noise going over bumps. You as the owner have to decide what noises you can live with and without. As for me the noise doesn’t bother me as when I mash that pedal or dip in a corner . i know my car is planted and response is amazing. Now some will say it’s the BMR Products. I have had some of there parts before and took them off in favor of steeds. Now that is just my experience with bmr and was not a fan at all. For me steeds is a far superior product. That is just my take as I have personal experience with both.

The Steeda Stop the Hop kit continues to be our best selling package - you can start 1 by 1 with the parts and keep complimenting until you are extremely satisfied with the control in the IRS - will let others jump in and provide their feedback - you can always email at tim@steeda for support!

I have the full stop the hop kit with steeda dual rate springs in my Mach 1. It does a great job for sure. I don’t have any random noises but on rough roads it’s definetly not the same as factory. It’s a stiffer ride but it handles and accelerates amazing. You can’t have it both ways. I’ve got half the steeda product line on my car and they’re the 1 manufacturer whose products have yet to disappoint.

It’s a really good bit of kit for handling as well as straight line. But it introduces resonant noise on the highway on poor pavement. You’ll also feel more vibration overall. Not terrible but your car will feel more sport and less GT, at least in my experience. Makes sense right? Those soft-ass rubber subframe bushings did a lot of flexing stock which keeps noise down and ride compliance up.

I did it all at once, braces and subframe supports.

I did the whole STH kit one piece at a time. Each piece improves things enough to feel. All are needed if you want a rock solid rear.

I have no added noises once I figured the sway arm link bolts need to be TIGHT!!!! I think mine are at 100 Ft Lbs.

I have the entire STH kit along with springs and struts. I'm very happy with the handling, and there's absolutely no more hop which I did used to get when I was stock. It makes me feel more confident in controlling the power, whether that means the car will stay planted and just go, or I can far more predictably tell when the power is too much for the conditions and I need to let off.

Edit: As far as noise, it's *minor* but I am very sensitive (overthinker type lol) so I think to most people it won't be a big deal. To put it this way, most of the time I don't really notice any noises because I'm just enjoying the car, have my music on, whatever. But if I'm *trying* to hear noises, then they're most likely to happen if I'm driving very slow over bumps with music off. Kind of like a clunk sound. But I really don't care now.

No clunks for me. My noise is just kind of tire and road noise amplified due to the metal pucks around the rubber subframe mounts. Happens on rough concrete at highway speeds.

I think in my case it depends on the weather but to be fair I had my shop drive the car and they don't seem to hear a thing or claim whatever they do hear is normal. But I never really notice it much either.

I did notice after putting my all seasons back on at certain speeds I can hear a humming sound though. I'm overly sensitive to change I guess 😅

Money extremely well spent. No noises and rear is planted. The first time I felt that rear end wobble I said NOPE.

the movement in the rear legit scared me a bit a few times. All of that is now gone and I'm working my way through rest of catalog

I pulled all that stuff off my car, went the opposite.

All those steel and harden bushings do a great job with flex but it's just amplifies a lot noise and can introduce new noise.

Just wasn't for me. I even put dynomat in the car to make it quieter. My wife loves the car now and date nights are a pleasure. Car makes close to 800PH and she's quiet (stock resonator, stock catback).
