gibson for the money is still standing out to me

Sorry the SW catback restricts power compared to Kooks and American Racing if you decide to go with headers.I'm getting real sick of seeing this. THERE IS NO POWER LOSS. And drone depends on the user. EVERY louder exhaust system will be louder... everything that people have described isn't actually drone, just loudness. Drone will vibrate the entire car.
Anyway, have you looked at the MRT catback? Sounds pretty good too, with H-pipe. I'd say 2nd behind sw with Bassani/corsa also tied for 2nd (if only they offered an h).
It COULD restrict power, but do you have proof? I did mean with factory connection, yes.Sorry the SW catback restricts power compared to Kooks and American Racing if you decide to go with headers.
If you just plan on adding a catback to the stock setup you're ok.
Check out MRT ShopMRT.comDeep sound of an h-pipe without the power restrictions of the SW design. Plus no drone!
Thanks man! I absolutely LOVE my Corsa setup! Be patient. It's worth the wait.Honestly, I prefer your Corsa system out of most everything so far. I'm not understanding the hype surrounding this ATAK system... it doesn't sound special to me.
As far as exhaust setups go, I haven't found one that really sounds ideal. I almost like SW's but it sounds so synthetic, and from the videos I've seen, the pitch doesn't change enough as the revs climb. Borla's FRPP setup sounds good but a little generic. Gibson sounds good but not very refined, although I like how aggressive it can sound with a muffler delete. All the others I've heard, mainly the custom one-offs, sound like ass.
If someone made something that had the racy, hard-edged sound of your Corsa setup mixed with something like SW/FRPP's baritone sound, I'd be sold.
All of the information hasn't been released just yet so that's just an assumption at this point ;)I'm getting real sick of seeing this. THERE IS NO POWER LOSS. And drone depends on the user. Any drone with SW?I'm curious, what kind of sound are you looking for? I feel the stainless works catback has a great sound it has a deep rumble vs the raspy sound in the FRPP.
Have you seen the other thread where they trash Gibson. Very poor workmanship on the welds and drones terribly.gibson for the money is still standing out to me
that was only one person's opinion on the welds and drone is subjective. There are more people saying it doesn't drone than there are that say it do...yet noone has a video proving it does yet. I hope to hear it in person on saturday myself from a local mustang owner with it.Have you seen the other thread where they trash Gibson. Very poor workmanship on the welds and drones terribly.
Their were pictures of the welds. Thats not an opinion. Thats fact.that was only one person's opinion on the welds and drone is subjective. people just misinterpret drone for sound and not understand what drone actually is.
i see no issues that would deter me from buying personally, but i'm also not a welder and have no clue what is good and what isn't, but as long as it doesn't come apart or rust out and saves me $600 over the next exhaust...then worth a shot...but hey that's me! :cheers:Their were pictures of the welds. oh i'm bringing my gopro 4 black!Khyber if you have a way to record the sound in my car this weekend I would be glad to let you do it.
