I know videos dont do justice, but I,m not liking the sound of that system at all, not saying borla is not a great system, but not for my ears.

Im hoping they put out a video just like SW did with the types of exhaust and the decibels each one produces.

Im still a huge fan of the Ford Racing sport, will wait for all their products for a final decision

Honestly, I prefer your Corsa system out of most everything so far. I'm not understanding the hype surrounding this ATAK system... it doesn't sound special to me.

As far as exhaust setups go, I haven't found one that really sounds ideal. I almost like SW's but it sounds so synthetic, and from the videos I've seen, the pitch doesn't change enough as the revs climb. Borla's FRPP setup sounds good but a little generic. Gibson sounds good but not very refined, although I like how aggressive it can sound with a muffler delete. All the others I've heard, mainly the custom one-offs, sound like ass.

If someone made something that had the racy, hard-edged sound of your Corsa setup mixed with something like SW/FRPP's baritone sound, I'd be sold.

This thread is probably the most disappointing thread I've read all day...

S-Type is the same as FRPP Sport
No H-Pipe option

The search for my new exhaust continues.

I'm curious, what kind of sound are you looking for? I feel the stainless works catback has a great sound it has a deep rumble vs the raspy sound in the FRPP.

Deep sound of an h-pipe without the power restrictions of the SW design. Plus no drone!

There's no power restrictions in SW, that FUD was proven false as no catback is producing over 5hp.

If you're going forced induction or big HP then SW can be a bit restrictive though, but still sounds the best so far IMO.

Every system out drones some bit right now if you look at every brand's thread.

I'm getting real sick of seeing this. THERE IS NO POWER LOSS. And drone depends on the user. EVERY louder exhaust system will be louder... everything that people have described isn't actually drone, just loudness. Drone will vibrate the entire car.

Anyway, have you looked at the MRT catback? Sounds pretty good too, with H-pipe. I'd say 2nd behind sw with Bassani/corsa also tied for 2nd (if only they offered an h).

Does anyone even have the MRT installed and videod yet? I've only seen 2 videos of this exhaust on the GT. It would be great to hear something other than the manufacturer ones, even though they are pretty good.

I'm looking for the same sort of sound. Have you looked at the Roush thread? There's a new clip of their axle-back combined with Lethal's resonator delete. Sounds really good, but I believe the issue of whether there's drone is currently unclear.

Maybe it's just me, but the Magnaflow Comp catback sounds very deep as well, deeper than any of the other X-pipe systems I've heard thus far.
