What was first choice if you don’t mind me asking? Cuz GBM is quite stunning indeedWasn't my first choice of color but I love it.

Red. Have never owned a red car and have always wanted one. By the time i was ready to buy an S550, production had just ended, and all that was left were mostly $55-60K models and 90% of the time what was out there was silver, black or white. What was first choice if you don’t mind me asking? Can I ask why the PPF removal?Removed PPF off the bumpers last weekend, quick polish and applied ceramic coating. Cleaned up really well...

Race Red is a great color also, took me a long time to decide between Race Red and Grabber Blue before I ordered my car.Red. Have never owned a red car and have always wanted one. This one hit the spot with the blackout package, cloth seats, 6sp and it was 42k.
Agreed! Great color.
I for one am not a PPF fan. But the main reason was, the PPF installed was not wrapped around the edges, so dirt was starting to migrate under the edges and look like crap... I would have left the front if that wasn't the case, but it really was starting to look bad. And I was always super careful when I washed to make sure not to put any pressure there to lift it.... As for the back, it was looking grungy too, plus the PPF was put over the graphics and the air gap was driving me insaneCan I ask why the PPF removal?
check out swiss trax as well..Beautiful fall day here so I gave mine and my wife’s a good bath. Dry foam with Carpro Lift, rinse then foam with Ethos Cleanse and contact wash with Cleanse in the bucket. Pay no attention to all the $hit in my garage. Building a shed next spring, didn’t have time this fall unfortunately. Then either RaceDeck or epoxy flooring.

I had a similar experience with my 2016 mustang gt. Really did not like how it puckered when damaged and had some lifting. I know the quality of the installer is part of it, but I just didn't want to deal with having to pull and replace eventually on my shelby. I've had rock chips on my 350.. I used dr color chip and move on. Unless you wrap the whole car you are going to get damage to the paint. I also agree with ppf over vinyl.. can never get those edges to lay flat unless you cut and apply around the seamsI for one am not a PPF fan.
