Exhaust Sound Clip Video Thread

Here is a cold startup and rev of my set up. Flowmaster American Thunder axle-back and Lethal Performance resonator delete (H-pipe). Does it drone? Yeah. Does it sound amazing? Yeah. I knew it was going to drone going in to this, but it is the sound I was after and I am very happy with it. The install was not all that bad. I lifted the car on ramps and jack stands. Not a whole lot of clearance. #bigboy The most difficult part was getting my sawzall in position to make the cuts. I am going to loosen the system back up and adjust it more, as the tips are not centered perfect.

That does sound pretty good! Wish they'd do the angled cut tips like the Roush, but otherwise sounds great for an axle-back. Would like to hear some drive by and in-car videos if you get a chance :cheers:

PS. Love the guy in the background with the southern accent "Sounds pretty good!!" :lol: That should be standard in any Flowmaster video

Anybody running Bassani yet? If so any Drone?

I'm running the bassani catback and there is drone mostly at around 2K rpm. I would say the range at where you can hear the drone is about 1700-2100. It's not terrible and it doesn't bother me but that's just me lol.

I haven't heard the sport. I know i wanted less cabin noise in the car. and this is what they told what would be best. and i love it..

I don't like how the FRPP exhausts get a flat note to them in the higher RPM's. They sound great and then they just sound like a broken trumpet when they rev high.

I'm glad to hear you say that. I wanted same thing. As close to stock in cabin normal driving around. Just a bit of noise outside. I ordered touring also. Hopefully I'm happy and sounds like you are and was seeking same thing I am.
