I have a 2019 Mustang GT Convertible. It does not have the B&O sound system and I would like to add it to the car. Are all the speakers in the car the same excluding the Sub Woofer and the Power Amp?

Might I ask why you want to add the B&O system? As for is it swappable, no, not directly. For the time, money, and effort you’d be much better off going aftermarket. The B&O system is not better than the 9 speaker in any magnitude worthy of swapping to it.

I second this! If you don't have the B&O, then aftermarket is definitely the way to go as the B&O is garbage!

I have a 2016 convertible, and will be upgrading the speakers in the door as soon as the weather is decent (on a weekend). Will likely post pictures and a write up of the process. I have the base sound system, which is trash.

Which is really a shame. My wife’s SUV has a 12 speaker Bose system from factory and it sounds terrific for a stock system. Ford definitely could’ve done better in the sound system department. But a lot of us probably aren’t buying these cars for the sound coming out of the speakers…

B&O was a stupid licensing choice anyhow. When I was in college, I worked at a very high end audio store. (That was fun)……Trust me, B&O may have been known for fancy turntables (Beogram) but their schtick was always Scandinavian design and looks. Sound quality, not so much. Wife appeal.
They should have picked JBL. They have better standards.

I agree, JBL makes some terrific stuff and at a reasonable price point too.

@Bob Folger I have all of the above components in my 2019, with the exception of the sub enclosure (I have the KL Audio Stealthbox) and it sounds great, paired with a DSP.

Everything is small and compact, which is exactly what you’d want in a convertible GT.
