Alarm system

I have a 2021 convertible. I have tried setting my perimeter alarm but it does not seem to work. I had someone try to open door or reach in and touch steering wheel but no alarm. Doors are locked but not alarmed. Any suggestions?

the only way I can help is tell you to bring it back to the dealer. I know for a fact that mine works. i would make sure the alarm goes off when jacking up your car as well.

I am grateful that mine is working! I really don’t want to leave my car at the dealership. I know no one would do anything on purpose but accidents happen and my luck,not a good situation

How do,you set it? Do you only need to touch handle? Press key lock?

Just asking to be sure but did you check with the top up or down? If the top is down, the perimeter alarm is disabled because the sensors will pick up any movement outside the car and give false alarms.

Top up. No alarm

Well that lets one theory go then. On my 2017 the alarm set and worked so not sure why yours isn't working.
