Vibration in floor/gas pedal.

Hey y’all, posting again bc last post didn’t get much info at all, but I’m experiencing some vibration in the driver floorboards (apparently in the passenger side too according to my friend) but i can feel it in my foot when I’m driving. My friend thinks it’s normal but me not so much.

I’m lowered on coilovers with wide low profile /305-35r19 and 275/35r19 tires. Not sure if that’s a contributing factor but it seems like it only does it with gas. As soon as I start driving, 1 mph to whatever. I usually cruise at like 78-80. Can feel it the whole time. It’s very subtle but I’m not sure if it’s new or something I should look into. I’ve heard it could be the rear tires but I don’t have any vibration other than the floor boards. Could it be exhaust?

So the small vibration is absolutely not normal? Even with low pro tires? Is any vibration normal? Maybe I’ll have discount rebalance them..

I have not. Car only has 56k miles.

I have revved the car while watching the motor and it doesn’t move at all though.. only does it while the car is in motion

If you had worn engine mounts that would cause excessive vibration. But it sounds like there isn't much vibration at idle.

It is a bit hard to tell you what is "normal" without being witness to it.

If I rest my foot on my clutch pedal -- which you shouldn't do -- I feel vibration.

Right me too. But my gas pedal it’s constant if the car is in motion. It’s not a groundbreaking level of vibration. It’s a little better over a smooth road too though which is weird. I just don’t know it it’s the car riding roush over the shitty roads in AZ or not. I don’t think the car is going to fall apart when driving it basically lol. It’s not THAT bad

I feel it at idle. What are the easiest tell tale signs of the motor mounts being bad? I just don’t know if it’s normal and it’s worrying me now;

You seem to be obsessing. Anything serious with your car or engine will usually throw a check engine light or codes.

If you are pursuing zero vibration, then you will check the aforementioned items such as your drive shaft carrier, tire wear, etc.

I will tell you that if it was me, I would just enjoy the car. I work in technology... if you don't want something to break even worse, don't touch it.

Since this is a vibration, I’s seek a local mustang friend or experienced shop to compare with.

i dont know if we can tell you if a vibration is normal, but I’d lean towards no it shouldnt do that.

check wheel balance first.

That’s the type of person I am for some reason, I want it to be perfect.

I have a squeak in my front suspension too but I don’t know if it’s serious or not. Don’t know if I should worry or not.

I would say just get more familiar and comfortable with knowing your car so you gain knowledge on what is serious or not.

This is a great and helpful community... start a new thread in the appropriate forum for the suspension issue. Try to describe what recreated the sound -- bouncing the car at a stop, taking off, turning the wheel, etc -- and someone will likely help you.

I’m starting to wonder if the engine mounts have anything to do with the squeaking. It just sounds like the front of the car. Can’t narrow the sound down. Seems like it comes and goes though.
