Yes, never heard that noise again. Was running some curvy country roads with the windows down when I heard the pop. I already had nails in both rear tires so I thought, not again! Looked it over and saw nothing, no pressure loss either. Was due for oil change so I took it in and described it to service mgr. Tech drove it out of the bay, around the lot, and said it needs to come in for service. Later I got vibration at highway speed and weird shifting from the A10 so I traded for a C8. Now this DC8 shifts funny too, lol. Good luck. Seems like you need to see them face to face. Put the dealer on the forum so others can avoid your poor customer service.

They said I could pick it up tomorrow after lunch, wife talked to my salesman so I don't have any other information yet

As I posted above the other day I removed my bumper. Did this to add screen mesh in the fake foglight housing. It was real easy to add the mesh and looks real good, thicker mesh would show up better for sure. Ended up installing the bumper, splitter, belly pan back in one piece. Bought the mesh from custom car grills….. also used E6000 premium to attach them. Oh, like a damn idiot I forgot to plug my lights back in 🤦🏻‍♂️

That is very, very nice. I was wondering how the faux headlight pods would look with the silver mesh from Custom Car Grilles, but I think the black may be much better after seeing yours.

Thanks….. it’s hard to say about the color. Silver may get lost in the cooler but it may compliment the pony

Crazy you have to take the bumper off for this )=

biggest blunder by ford was not an easy quick solution to TWO GIANT HOLES IN THE FRONT BUMPER

Dropped the Mach off after work last Thursday, got it back today.

Definitely drives smoother, mpgs seem up, so that's a plus.

Seems like an excessive amount of time for a pull/clean/lube/replace kind of job but I guess as long as the noise and thunk is gone...

Wait. Aren't the axle nuts one-time use?

I don't guess it matters. Just curious.

I did it actually a week ago - went to a US cars meet at a local track. I had a great day. I saw four Mach 1s in the pack - three FJGs, one black.

I had an opportunity to track my car - though the track is quite short and can be basically driven in the second gear - it was fun.

There was even one EV ☺

Cool seeing people in CZ enjoying cars from all ages as we do in the US.
