Also I would like to sincerely apologize if I offended you or anyone, I guess it's true that one shouldn't drink and post. *embarrassed
I was not offended, just wasn't smart enough to know if you were for Alex and Lund or against.

Personally I want to thank Lund. Long before the YT asshat, Lund Sr had that roll. Due to his arrogance and vulgar personality I decided to learn how to tune Ford's myself.

The videos are why I didnt considered Lund. I fully admit I'm a tune dummy. But Im still spending my money, and trusting my not so cheap car with somebody.

If I want to spend money and be treated poorly with a side of errogance I'll take a time machine back to the comic book stores of the 90s😆

"Where are your batman comics?"

"What batman verse are you looking for peasant?"

"The guy with a black f*cking cape and cool car that fights crime....you know what screw it..where are you hiding the cartoon p*rn*
lmao. i kinda missed the comic book scene (late 80s kid, they weren't super popular at least where I grew up, it was all about nintendo and sega). I guess that's where Simpsons got their idea for Comic Book Guy, one of my favorite characters.

Its simple. Tuners can act how they like unfortunately. Only so many good tuners out there.

Hello; Just read thru all eight pages of this thread. I did not know of Lund and by inference did not know of the guy Alex. Now I know more than I want about both. The above quotes sum up what i have learned. Not clear if Lund is still a good tuner. There seemed to be more negative posts than positive.
Sigh, I have had to learn new stuff about cars for decades guess it will be the same for tunes. I think I have picked up some general knowledge about tunes from watching TV shows mostly on Motor Trend TV. The factory programs the operating computer(s) to suit goals such as not breaking parts, smooth operation, maybe fuel economy and for sure throttle response. Tunes can be simple for factory stock vehicles or deep dives into every parameter on a dyno tune.

Haven't searched thru the couch cushions lately so am not sure which way to start with tunes.

He is a great tuner, don't get that confused with being a shitty business owner

lol, this is not the first time ive read about their CS being disrespectful or talking down to people. With the fact they do fuck up to where other tuners have to fix their tunes, gives them no room. If they were the best tuner out there and never made a mistake then I can see overlooking it. Doesn't make it right, but it can be overlooked.

That's why I always recommend @Wengerd Performance to people. Dudes tunes are legit. He got mine correct on the first try and on top of that, I know I have probably been annoying as fuck with my questions lol. He has never been anything but respectful and I've gotten tunes late at night and on the weekend.

If I ever end up going E85 ill likely get the PCMTEC from them and whatever is needed to adjust the tune based off ethanol percentage on the fly. I want to go E85, but its just not as available as I'd like here and I'd have to go out of my way to fill up.

Hello; I get and think it can make sense to use a similar yardstick when it comes to doctors. I will tolerate a good doctor who fixes me up and has terrible bedside manners. Not so much of a case for the mechanic who might take a decently running car and make it marginally different, hopefully better, with a tune. I can live well with a factory tuned car and not have to put up with a surly tuner. Not the same when I break my back or some such.

I also get why he gets away with being a "shitty business owner". Seems finding a decent tuner is not so easy. I even get the criticism of the OP who wanted a custom tune while having/desiring vehicle modifications which do not make sense nor which can be fixed with a tune. This guy will get away with his attitude as long as his skills are in demand.

Having been married twice so far, I do not need to go to this guy to be called names. Had plenty of that already.

Agree 100%, there are too many other good options to get stuck with people like them

I'm kind of surprised that you know about the Ngauge, but didn't know it has been dead for years
This was the end on 2020 beginning of 2021 right when they were hit by the EPA and when the Nguage had just been discontinued. At the time they had told me "Just by a SCT/BDX because we will always be able to tune to that" I am glad I didn't do that either as it turns out.

Point was on my end.. Its 2020, I buy my new car.. Have not had a Mustang since the early 2000's and it was a Fox. Get the car home.. Start the google search on what to buy and what is available. Knew I wanted to tune it. Lund was number one answer found.. Went to their site saw the Nguage.. Then watched a bunch of info on it from everywhere I could find.. Waited a couple of months.. Break in the car and dont piss off the wife by buying a new car then unloading a bank account on it.. Then went to order and was hit with what I said before.. It almost tuned me away from them altogether but again in early 21... The clear cut best you could find online if you didnt have a local tune shop was Lund.. So I stuck with them.. Glad I did because I feel like they have done very well for me.. I just wish they understood not everyone is in the game like they are and they are looked at as a resource. Afterall before you go buying a bunch a crap it makes sense to as your Tuner first. Some of those questions on their end are bound to come off as complete stupidity. Need to ease up on the hammer sometimes tho.

And? You don’t publicly bash customers. Any good business owner knows this. You’re completely missing the point. And that’s the kind of people Lund likes.
Customer was publicly bashing Lund, on a Lund associate show with over 6,000 viewers, presenting a wildly inaccurate portrayal of the scenario. The customer agreed in real time to research the issue. Alex's diagnosis appears accurate.

And the sheep bought him everything he owns. Which is fine. Even though he calls them tards and cucs.

Another thing I noticed.. red car he broke. GT500 he broke. The 19 he broke. The Fairmont he broke. The Notch he broke. He either blames everyone else, or he said he found the limitations. Truth is, it was all him.

As for tuning he doesn't tune shit. He copy and pastes. Or he goes to Jr for help. Even his Z06 he tried tuning it himself which was a fail, and he ended up having someone else help him. And by help, I mean the other person did basically everything.

Another funny thing is when he installed the triple hat FORE fuel system in the Fairmont then ended up having big time issues. He tries really hard to bite his tounge cause he wanted to blame FORE. But he couldn't cause he keeps saying that FORE is the only fuel system to get. That was fucking funny.

edit he has a Z06 not a ZR-1
It is a ZR-1, not a Z06

That exchange he read was probably representative of 90% of the complaining that pops up here.
Plus I always try to keep in mind he does his show after doing his main daily grind all day. If you have worked in any kind of customer service you know you get home and kind of unload all the dumb crap you have had to deal with all day. In his case it just happens to be a very public way to do it. Right wrong or otherwise he gets to choose to do that.. We all get the choice to listen or not. Never really understood the people that get offended and then just keep watching anyways... If its not your bag move on... And as somebody said earlier... Vote with your wallet.

Once again, the problem is not that he thinks that everyone is a retard, the problem is he is sharing private emails with customers of Lund to a Lund email address on his show, which as far as I can tell at that point is Lund sponsored

hell, as far as the average person can tell he probably is Lund

Zero issues with my Lund tune in the past. Zero issues with my Livernois tune.

Don't use junk parts (i.e., voting w wallet) and use what works. Everyone thinks they're going to eek out another 1-2hp doing it "their" way....it doesn't work that way on these things.

If I was a tuning comany and someone wanted a tune for a PMAS or P51 fenderwell CAI I would gladly take their money, extra of course due to the several revisions it will take, and tune away.

Sure I would tell the customer it is no better than the regular PMAS which is 150 dollars cheaper to tune.

No reason to bash someone for wanting what they want.
