Didn't expect to, but i did, went down to the dealer to look at a GT and i did, and that solidified my decision to order one. GT Premium, 6 speed manual, Guard, 18" Foundry wheels, Premier Trim with Color Accent Group, and Spoiler Delete.

Put down a $500 refundable deposit. So now i have a 4 month wait.

Im pretty damn excited though!

Congrats! I get mine on saturday, and I only waited 2 months. Longest wait of my life. This week has been the worse as I know it's now in state somewhere. I couldn't imagine a 4 month wait.

Everything takes forever to come here. The dealership got in like 4 mustangs in their allocation and sold every one of them. They now have a Magnetic EcoBoost Premium thats a military order, and a Comp Orange GT thats dealer stock. The inventory just trickles in.

Congrats! Post plenty of pics. The Guard/foundry combination was my original setup and I'm sure it'll look sweeeeeeeet after seeing guard in person.

Haha there will be tons when it comes in! I initially wanted just the stock 18" wheels but those Foundry wheels and Guard just make it look like Bullitt. So in a way, this is my tribute car lol

I definitely think you made the right choice. I was able to finally see the stock wheels in person the other day and I'm not really a fan.

Any reason your not getting the PP?

it's a really good deal for all that you get, just like the premier trim :)

Yeah im not much of a fan of the stock wheels. The 19" Painted wheels were my next choice, but not for $899. Im fine with the Foundry wheels.

Don't care for summer tires, and this car more than likely won't see a track in its lifetime (maybe the dragstrip once just for fun) so i really wouldn't use all of the extras to its full potential.

I'll probably only end up on the track once or twice as well but I still feel like it's a good deal for the street. Better cooling and stopping power are always useful. You never know when the guy in front of you is going to brake late heh :headbonk:

Good choices all around though. I absolutely love my GT Premium PP and I'm sure that you will enjoys yours just as much, with or without the PP

I did think about it though, but in the end all i wanted was a nice Grand Tourer. Im moving to the mainland in the later part of next year and i think this combo would be a nice road trip car.

I usually road trip with my girlfriend a couple of times a year and she doesn't mind the PP so far for short trips (3~ hours). We will probably make the 20~ hour drive to CA again sometime soon so I suppose that will be the real test for her. I think this PP rides better than my '12 brembo package did and handles much better all around as well.

I'm going to be putting Steeda's springs and sway bars on in a week or two anyway so I'm sure it will be a bit rougher after that but we will see. At the point where my girlfriend starts getting uncomfortable is the point I need to start watching(and reducing) NVH haha
