The '15 is already better than the Boss' intake. There have been tests showing the Boss 302 intake reduces performance on the S550. There may well be something that comes along better, but I doubt it'll be very high in the 'bang for the buck' category.

They really did a great job w/ stock components.
I didn't realize that, have to read up on it haha. I knew they changed some things but not the manifold as well.

One inconclusive test by BAMA isn't enough to say the stock manifold is better than the Boss, in my opinion. For all we know they threw on the Boss mani with no tune changes and continued shifting at the stock 7,000 rev limit instead of running out passed 7,500 where the Boss mani shines. Who knows as they nor anybody else that I've seen have posted details.

Agree and wasn,t their nitrous not working well on the stock intake that made them go back to the boss?

But regardless, it's not a foregone conclusion that a Boss intake will be some silver bullet. That was my point.

Someone may well build a better intake, but likely it's not going to be a simple swap of a single component and you're going to gain 20hp. I think Ford did a pretty good job on the new intake as is and the gains won't be quite what they used to be.

We already know that headers, a cat back, CAI and tune will get you past 500 crank hp. I'd stick with what's known to work for now, until more research is done on the other bits.

The only "throttle body" spacers worth having come from Nitrous Oxide kit manufacturers for a shot of laughing gas.

It wasn't a silver bullet for the S197 Coyotes either, and my point was that it required the right attention and testing to yield an improvement. You couldn't just slap it on the older cars and expect 20hp either.

Is there anywhere where it lists all of the changes to the 5.0 for the 15+ from the last gen, I have looked around but I can't find anything decent.
