I am considering adding these two bolt on's to my set up. How much of a difference do you think these two mods will make? Has anyone had any issues with the electrical system after adding the underdrive pulleys like the headlights being dim when at idle RPM? I had noticed this on a previous vehicle.

I'm trying get to 500HP at the crank with just minor bolt on's. I already have a 93 octane track tune, CAI, & a catback exhaust.

Those are not realistic bolt-ons for the Coyote. Try to find anyone using either of those on their '11-14 Coyotes. Better option would be longtube headers with a custom tune. Also better to have a RWHP goal(with consistent baseline) instead of crank HP goal as you will never know unless you pull the engine to put onto an engine dyno.

Headers, intake, and tune should get you close to 500 crank. As others said those mods wont benefit you much with this car.

The spacer and the pullies always look tempting when you are done with the other lower cost mods like CAI and tune. And reasoning people always give is every little bit of extra power helps and they are not expensive. I had a 3V and know more about them than Coyotes, but on the 3V engine these mods were worthless. SOmeone saying they got 3 hp from one could be margin of error on the dyno. And when you goto the track and see the cars that are running the best times you never see these mods on the car. Some reputable shops sell them still and I dont know why. As tempting as it is to add these and hope for and extra couple of hp, put the money towards more proven things like Grimmace said like the long tubes.

I don't have any plans on putting my car on a dyno as long as it is running right. Therefore, my goal is get up to ~500 at the crank. There is enough info on this and other sights to tell me about where my car will be. I appreciate the feedback on the mods though.

I'm trying to avoid headers because I'm very happy with the exhuast note I have right now (with no drone). Removing the cats and adding LT headers will make it quit a bit louder I believe right? I'm not sure how that would affect drone.

next to a tune, headers are going to be your best bang for you buck. If you want to stick with stock exhaust a S/C will get you past your goal no problem. With that said youre going to have a tough time hitting 500 crank without a set of headers if you want to skip F/I

I'd say that's right. You would get 480-485 without headers, but to get to the 500 mark (440 rwhp), you'll very likely need headers.

I guess I'll have to consider some LT headers then. What about a new throttle body? There should also be some aftermarket upper intakes hitting the market pretty soon?

The '15 is pretty much maxed out on the intake side

Maybe intake manifold? The 11-14's had the 302 and Cobra Jet manifolds I believe, wonder if the 15+ will get something along those lines as well.

The '15 is already better than the Boss' intake. There have been tests showing the Boss 302 intake reduces performance on the S550. There may well be something that comes along better, but I doubt it'll be very high in the 'bang for the buck' category.

They really did a great job w/ stock components.
