Yes exactly..this is what I am going to do...personally I think this is better because you are deleting the flex pipe which doesnt happen with most catback kits.

Both the X and H sound great...seems like maybe the H is a little louder.
Question: Is there any drone with this setup: either H or X?

With your resonator delete setup could everything that was cutout be put back using the same clamps you supply? Just in case...I would not want to back myself into a corner if I thought it was too loud or something.

Listening to the video they don't seem a whole lot louder...mainly wondering about drone.

There's no drone whatsoever with either setup (x or h). If you wanted to switch back to the stock resonator you'd need (2) 2.25" clamps which aren't included.

You can definitely install an axleback with this kit as our res delete kit still uses most of the factory piping from the rear of the resonator to the mufflers.

Car was obviously dynoed with each setup, so what were the numbers?

The car with an intake, tune and the res deletes (x and h versions) made 409rwhp/384rwtq.

Kooks as well as most other longtube header manufacturers require you to use their own shorty midpipe with their headers. So if you went with a set of Kooks headers they will not mate up to this pipe or any other midpipe that mates up to the stock manifolds. You'll need to purchase the matching Kooks midpipe in order for the system to mate with the rest of the stock exhaust.

We dyno'd the car with the factory resonator, our X and our H resonator deletes and there was no difference in peak power. Only a small gain across the midrange with the H.

Thanks for the reply! I'm leaning to this instead of axle backs.
I like the idea of not having to ditch a set of perfectly good mufflers to get a decent sound and a little better flow.

I'll be doing this shortly. I installed the Flowmaster American Thunder axle back and will be installing the H-pipe in the next few days, when time allows. I'll add that video once I do the install. Here the video of just the axle back, which I also purchased from Lethal. Part # is FLO-817710.

That picture is not accurate. The kit is just like the X-pipe kit pictured on their site.
