I have a 2016 Mustang GT that I'm installing a GT350 intake on and will be raising the rev limiter. I'd like to change the rpm at which the tach turns red but I don't know how to make that happen. This may be a HP Tuners thing or a Forscan thing, I have both. Mainly wondering if anyone here has done this or knows where to look to make the change?

You have the digital dash? Otherwise I believe it's a feature only on the GT350 instrument clusters.

The only car I've ever owned with digital dash is the Mach1 and there's a dash setting to set the shift-point which can then be displayed as an orange line, or a series of ever more urgent converging lights, or lastly flashing the whole screen (or just tach?) red.

2016 so I have the analog dash, but yes the tach turns red over a certain RPM, which also indicates that No Lift Shift is activated as well. (I have the Power Pack 2 installed currently)

I think on the 18+ stick cars you can adjust this in the driver settings, but on the older cars like mine if there is a way to adjust this setting I'm unaware of it.

I've also dug around in Forscan to try and find this setting but have come up empty handed, although I'm a new user so I could be missing something.

I have no input into this. But I’d like to know as well. It’s red an awfully long time shifting at 7500.

Yes when you are close to redline the gauge turns red.

OP has a modified car with a higher-than-stock redline. He wants the light to turn red close to his new redline.

I typically don't wear red shirts unless it's a Christmas or Valentines thing. I wear a lot of black though.

Might be a forscan thing. Its not in the tune I believe. Yes changing the "redline" is but not where the tach turns red.
