Congratulations Matt. Enjoy it. Didn’t catch how you guys found each other, but I’m sure happy to see the car with another 6G member who we all know will love it. As for @DadzMach, hope you’re doing well and on the mend. Nice ending! What a relief to know someone will care for it.
I am extremely happy that I know where it went and that it went to a huge Mustang enthusiast and not just a car guy.
I know he will love and enjoy and most importantly, take excellent care.
Definitely miss seeing her in the garage everyday and certainly more fun to drive than the replacement car I purchased.
Matt is a really good Guy, so I rest well knowing so.

He reached out with telepathic powers. It's a trait Matt's use to reach out to other Matt's.

Actually I stumbled across the car via cars.com. The wheels were what made it stand out and it was local. I was planning to buy a '21 Yellow M1 600A down in Richmond for 47-48K but even though KBB said the 57k ask was out of bounds to the upside, the extras more than compensated.

I got skewered hard on the Brittany EB/6MT trade initially but they kept upping their offer till the Net made good enough sense. The bottom has REALLY fallen out of EB valuations recently!

Telepathic powers come in extremely useful, almost daily!

thankfully my bad knee is the right. Tore the tendons clean off the knee cap. Problem is it didn't heal right so my knee cap is not between the bones, but riding high on the femer so the joint is quite unstable. Will need another surgery to see if they can tighten up the lower tendon and fixture the cap where it's supposed to be.
Damn, that hurts just thinking about it. Wish you the best!

I gotta say, that’s a tough choice between Grabber Yellow and Grabber Blue. Both look stunning with the Mach stripes. Warms my heart though that a forum member ended up with another forum members car. And GBM really is the best color, talking among friends here 🤭

Alright, enough of this gooey show of emotion 🤣

I was recently shopping for a 6 speed mach around the same condition in jet fighter gray and they were wanting 57900 which was a little high for what i was wanting. I would have been a buyer around 56,800 but they wouldn't budge so i bought a GT500 instead since i couldn't find a mach in Texas that i liked for the price.

Love your Mach 1, hate to see you sell it but I totally understand. I am excited for you to get the GT500, look forward to all the awesome pics once you get it!

Edit: After reading the rest of the post looks like you MAY keep it. Either way like you said hopefully you add the GT500 you been wanting as well. I must say the clutch on this car is very light but I get it Knee issues suck. Good luck.

Hello Everyone,

Im thinking about selling my Mach, and want some serious thoughts as to what I should ask for it. Yes, I have checked KBB for a starting range. After checking various sites the price range for cars equivalent to mine range from 58-66K (crazy asking price).

Here is the details on my car:
  • 2022 M1, 6-Speed, HP, Elite Package, 700A Heated/Cooled Seats-2343 Miles
  • Garage Stored, with factory cover
  • Bemaro overlays in engine bay
  • Redline Extreme hood struts
  • Full Ceramic coating inside, outside, wheels, brakes, and glass
  • EXPEL PPF on the complete front, leading edge of roof, mirror caps
  • Ceramic window tint, legal for NC. Clear ceramic tint on windshield
  • Continental ESC-2 tires. 305/30/19 front, 325/30/19 rear
  • Oil change performed last month with Blackstone Report
  • Never raced or tracked
  • No mods, other than cosmetic mods, no tunes
  • Includes factory window sticker, owners kit, and all information from where I purchased it new
  • Ford is coming to my house today to update the Brake module recall, all S550 owners received
  • No dents, dings, scratches, on the body.
  • The paint and interior are perfect
  • Includes factory car cover
Thanks
Say it ain’t so Anthony! Can’t believe you’re selling it man. Such a beauty.
I’ll trade you and give $10k cash?
I really want a stick again

I have been on a serious weight loss regimen to help my knees and down 50 pounds so far.

I will keep you guys posted.
Fantastic accomplishment!
Dropping 50lbs

Sounds like you are pretty happy with your Mach 1, & now just need adequate relief in your knee. I hope that happens for you.

Has the change in diet that resulted in losing 50lbs, shown any other benefits?

Some foods can help reduce inflammation that can help with certain joint pain & connective tissue pain.

Oxalates & histamines can contribute to pain that may seem unresolveable in our minds. Yet many have seen results from dietary changes over several months. Oxalate removal can take quite a bit longer though, & is said to be closer to a year or longer in some cases.

I'm not attempting to play here nutritionist btw. I am just a guy with my own joint pain, who is tweaking diet quite often to find any improvements daily/weekly, after having surgical fusions of vertebrates, along w/ Titanium hardware screwed into my body.
Ive done hundreds & hundreds of hours of physical therapy, over a period of about a decade, with absolutely zero positive results from it.

For myself, the diet path has been the most helpful thus far in reducing inflammation, vs all the other things from the corticosteroid injections, to other pharmaceuticals the doctors suggest we try, when under their care for these types of issues. It's a difficult road to travel when trying to determine what our bodies want & don't want. The internet is full of nonsense on this topic. Which makes research extremely difficult. Trial & error works, but is time consuming, when looking for what reduces inflammation in our own body's.

Thats why I asked if you saw any benefits, besides the obvious of losing 50 lbs, which should be helpful in itself.

Thank you for the offer Bro!! I totally understand you wanting a stick. All of my previous hotrods have been manuals with the exception of two classics, dating back to getting my first car in 1984.

Dee,

Thank you for sharing your experiences with diet, surgeries, and the addition of titanium in your body.

My diet plans have evolved through the years, and the best "diet" I have found is the Fast Metabolism Diet. This diet is set in phases, and it's really easy once you get going. This has been combined with intermittent fasting as well.

As far as foods that support anti-inflammatory properties, my wife helps with that. She is into natural herbs and spices, along with eating fresh foods.

My knees are happier not carrying the extra weight, but I actually didn't help them with my workout routine, so that is some of the reason for them hurting while driving. Core training and the Nordic-bike have caused pain as well. This was self inflicted, as I tried to go into my workout at full steam because I was feeling good.

Now I go at a reduced speed and pace during my workout sessions. Breaks and plenty of water help me out, Im really starting to listen when my body is saying" Hey dumbass, that's enough".

Thanks again Dee

@Coastal-Mach See if you can find a doctor that does PRP, platelet-rich plasma injections.
