Well, California is finally getting rain. Have you noticed that when it rains, the visibility out of the rear window is poor... almost looks like there is a "film" on the outside glass. I'm thinking this is due to the slant of the fastback window.

In non rainy situations the glass is fine. (yes, I have cleaned the window after I took ownership of the car).

Has anyone else noticed this?

I drove mine from Atlanta back to New York in rain most of the way. At Highway speeds I thought the visibility out the back was outstanding. I don't know if a drop of water actually hit the rear window, but I haven't driven locally in the rain.

Try a Rain-X treatment and see if it improves?

Not supposed to do steady speeds until broken in.

I've noticed in stop and go traffic the rear window will collect the rain, but once you get the car moving at a steady pace it clears off.

Yes, I too have used my defroster and it helps. I've never had a car that needed that before.

Defrost usually works for me on my various cars. I have heard that clay bar and a cleaner wax helps out a bunch. Never tried it so I don't know how true that is.

This. I always leave my defroster on while it's raining (and have in every car I've ever owned) and never have a problem.

Oh man, congrats on the GT, I see you took delivery! I am waiting on my Ingot Silver GT (base) w/PP at the moment. I am yet see to see a silver GT anywhere. How is that color working for you?
Thanks!
