Installed these a few weeks ago. Not difficult but I agree, it is time consuming. Take your time.
Nothing changes with dimming or anything. I used the resistors so I don't get that galloping sound on my dashboard and it works just like it did with stock signals. Let me get my phone and add a few pictures here.
Gotcha! Thanks for that. Looks like it'll wait till I have a few things stacked up. Appreciate it!
Bumping this thread. @JackWagon are these truly plug-and-play like the website states, or do we indeed need resistors installed in-line as @Zelek has done? I don't want that triple-galloping-blink sound as I had when a sequencer went bad in the rear and I had to get a replacement through @Diode Dynamics and all is working well.

On that note, @Diode Dynamics do we need a resistor for this install?

About to order me a set as the car is going away again for some more work this weekend and want to get the parts over to the shop.

Thanks, all!

Lights blink at the proper rate without the resistor but you will get the galloping sound. Either install resistors or disable it using Forscan.

I'm definitely down with FORScan. Thanks for having me go back and read and see the one link to S550 guru. Got it! Thank you.

Resistors in mine made it just like stock. No galloping sound.

Thanks guys! The shop came and got the car for all the various parts for the install today - should have it back sometime whenever they're done!

Checking in. I have a 22 Mach 1,
Bought the 15-17 diode dynamics smoked led kit. The harness for the diode dynamics won’t plug into the main turn signal harness from the car, almost like the pins are too thick.

pics attached, OEM on bottom DD on top. Anyone else have this problem?

Did I not get the right kit, should I have ordered the gt350 one instead?

I just checked and these are the ones I ordered:

Sequential LED Turn Signals for 2015-2017 Ford Mustang (pair) (USDM) (diodedynamics.com)

Alright, I had to bend all the pins on both diode dynamic connectors but they work now and look great. If you didn’t know btw, the gt350 and 15-17 kit are the same part, so doesn’t matter which one you order.

My installer didn't say anything about doing any similar modifications when mine were installed. Simply plug-and-play. I wonder if you got a bum kit somehow. Looks great, though!

Looking good fellas! These are how they should have come from the factory.

That is weird, I didn’t have any issues with mine. Glad you got them figured out, look great!

Are the DRLs bright enough??? I love smoke but I like like the DRLs to be as bright as possible since there’s no fog lights. I miss my 2018 Fog lights
