Now that the guys over at Bama Performance have had their hands on our 2015 GT they've set their sights on our EcoBoost and some preliminary work shows that there's a lot left on the table from the factroy.

After making a few bone stock passes they were able to best an impressive 13.6 @ 98mph but with the addition of a Bama Track Tune and Airaid CAI our EcoBoost was able to drop 3/4 of a second off our stock pass and post a 12.9 at 103MPH!

Keep in mind that this isn't a Race only development tune and the tune that we ran in this video is currently available!

Here's the mods on the car:

- 93 Track Tune
- Airaid Sythamax CAI
- Full Weight MMD 19" Zeven Wheels Wrapped in MT 305 Drag Radials


We're nowhere near being finished on this build with the Bama team so stay tuned!

Is there a particular reason why this tune seems more conservative when compared to other tuners like livernois who ran better times (12.6) with no mods other than tune?

Keep in mind that the tune that we were running in the car is the same product that Bama is offering publicly to our customers. Not a Race-Only tune, which the guys over at Livernois have been clear they were running in their 12.6 video, which is a killer time - those guys were haulin' ass! Their tune that they released is probably very similar in power to the tune that we were running from Bama above.

Hey Eco! I'll pop in there right now, thanks for letting me know. I think Bama's EB is right on par with theirs considering the difference in times (12.9 vs 12.6) and they're absolutely nowhere finished with this, or their GT! I'll be sure to keep everyone in the loop but they have some big plans for our Comp Orange 2015 EB!

Just popping in to clarify, since we were brought up, we never said our 12.6 run was race only. The only race gas tune we did was the 11.80 run. :shrug:

I know AM/BAMA can do better, but I'm giving them time to get to know the EcoBoost, and it's just cool to see so many companies getting in the '12s with basically just a tune.

Just out of curiosity, what does your released Stage 2 run? I was under the impression your 12.1 was run with the 427ftlbs tune, which is the same tune you ran the 12.6 with and just lost some weight. I might be misreading though.

PM sent, we had only popped in this thread as an incorrect statement was made about our tune and the results from said tune. If anyone has any questions for us, shoot a pm, or post it up in one of our many results threads, we don't want to derail the OP's thread, or disrespect them in any way. We want to keep it friendly and respectful competition

Hey guys what with were those rear 19 wheels that u had the 305 MT drag radials on, do u think they would fit on the the stock gt pp wheels?

Those stock PP wheels are 9.5 inches wide. They will fit a 305.
