Fair enough but doesn't that terminology seem counter intuitive? Considering dragstrip has the word strip in it. Not to mention the distinction between both styles of racing they separately embody. I know this may be nit-picking to a degree but I don't go to the bar and order a beer with the assumption that the bartender knows I mean whiskey on the rocks.
I get what you're saying but when most people use racetrack/track interchangeably they're not referring to what they're doing at the track but of it as a physical location. A "dragstrip" is a form of a track, only straight.

NHRA (website)- There are 120 member tracks across North America that host NHRA competitions each week in NHRA’s seven geographic regions.

A drag race is an acceleration contest, on a track, or dragstrip, that begins from a standing start between two vehicles over a measured distance.

Wiki (I know not always the best but what I could find)- A dragstrip is a straight, purpose-built racetrack, typically an eighth, ten feet longer than three-sixteenths, or a quarter of a mile long

I'm curious to see what i would run too. At the same time I'm not too worried because i bought this car to do it all so till I hit the track ill still be having fun around town and getting pretty good gas mileage while I'm at it. I thought the 1/4th thing would be mainly GTs.
