Hello Everyone,

I’m new to the community and just recently picked up my 17 GT350.

I know this has been discussed but I can’t seem to find a thread with direct answers. So please forgive me if this question has been beaten to death.

What are my options for all season tires that fit on stock wheels?

I’ve looked at the pilot sport all season 4 285/40/19. But I would like to know what are my other options?

Thanks

Try going to tire rack and searching for tires in the OEM size. That will give you a list of all available in that size and they have good ratings to see which one works best in certain situations like wet, cold, snow etc.

Did that. Only summer tires are offered in the stock size.

At the moment this is my daily driver. Between the months of December-march temps can get down below 40 degrees here in north GA.

You could go down to a 275/40/19 on all 4. Plenty of all seasons in that size, and the rim width range is 9-11 inches. you aren't going to find all seasons in the OEM staggered sizes

I’ll search 275. I was worried 275 might be too narrow for the rear

a 275 will fit on a 11" wheel with a bit of stretch, but still within the specifications of the tire manufacturers

Or get some GT Performace pack wheels and put All season on them. 255/40/19, 275/40/19

Ok then try other sizes down like you mentioned. We're not going to be able to magically produce more tires than exist, and a place like tire rack has the best choices available.

Play around with sizes until you find something that's available in all season variety. The specs of the tires usually list the rim width range that they will fit on, so as long as the manufacturer states their tires fit a 10.5 or 11" wheel, then you will be fine installing those.

My first winter here in Ohio I tried to drive in 50 degree weather on the Ohio turnpike and the stock Cup 2 tires were like driving on ice, could only go about 50 mph without sliding. This terrified me enough to immediately go out and get Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 plus 275/40/19 fronts and Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus 285/40/19 rears per a recommendation on this forum. I've had them almost 3 years now and like you my GT350 is my daily driver, even in bitter cold as long as no snow on the roads. The tires work great in all temperatures, no tramlining, and are wearing much better than the stock Cup 2s. While I'm sure I've given up some ultimate dry handling, I won't go back to stock.

Okay, so here's how this works.:

- As far as I know, there are no Ford or Ford Performance rims that will clear the front brakes on a GT350. OEM GT350 or aftermarket are your options.

- A 275/40 is the narrowest tire you can put on the OEM front rims. They will also work on the rear rims.

- If you want a bit more width on the rear, go up to 285/40's. Michelin doesn't make them wider than that.

With 285's on the rear, your speedo will be off about 2 mph at 60. No big deal. I run 255/40 Pilot AS3+'s front and 275/40 rears in the winter (on 9.5" rims) and the 275's do feel a bit stressed at full throttle in first and second.

Note: I just saw the post from @sothpaw - he posted when I was writing - and I agree with him. 275/40 front, 285/40 rear. Job done.

Is there any difference between going 285 all around or going staggered like you have?
