I was looking to put all season performance tires on my car for the winter months. Since it's highly recommended not drive in 40 degrees or colder with the stock tires. But it's hard to find one for the GT350 unless I go to 20in wheels. I believe in safety especially if driving the GT350 in the cold weather. Has anyone upgraded to 20in for the winter??

Yes many have gone to 20ā€ wheels for the better selection.
Is there such thing as a ā€œall season performance tireā€?

I run A/S 3+ in 265/40 and 275/40 on stock 19" wheels. They were recomended to a member here by a reputable tire shop owner. They are almost the same exact width as stock tires and add so much functionality to the car, especially up here in Maine.

I'm also running A/S 3+ - I'm running 285 width all the way around on the stock wheels for my "winter" tires and they fit well.

Why did you say it like that? šŸ˜‚ Makes me wonder if the PS4ā€™s are discontinued?

I had narrowed those down (Iā€™m very OCD on research) to be superior dedicated winter dry/wet ā€œperformanceā€ tires 295/35/19 as a square setup on the stock wheels if you live in the southern USā€¦ just cold temps and rare occasional snow 2-3x year, if that. I have slightly staggered HREs on for summer, and as everyone knows the super pilot sports and especially cup 2s are dangerous under 40 degrees, if not downright useless in surprise bad weather

if thereā€™s something better or if the PS4s are discontinued Iā€™d like to know what my options actually are.. Right now Covid backlog has zero winter tire availability from Michelin. Limited availability for tires in general.

if thereā€™s something better (not concerned over pricing) for the above conditions or if the PS4s are discontinued Iā€™d like to know what my options actually are.. Right now Covid backlog has zero winter tire availability from Michelin. Limited availability for tires in general.

Sorry, I meant the PILOT SPORT 4S summer tire. For winter driving its the PILOT SPORT ALL SEASON 4

I have to admit their tire naming schemes are kinda confusing

For what it is worth, the Super Sports (300 wear rating) are a lot better in cold weather than Cup 2s (R compound with 200 wear rating).

This may be a stupid question/thing to do, but would mustang gt 19inch rims fit a GT350/R? I have an extra set and was wondering if I could use those for the time being and not drive the carbon fiber rims with all these craters on the road

From everything I've read the big brakes on the 350 and 350R will hit GT wheels.

ChipG, how did those 285s all around pan out for the rest of the winter back in 2022 and beyond?

I'm thinking of going 285/35 all around for a winter set on a set of oem 2020 GT350 wheels as well. I didn't want to go too small in the back but they don't make many (if any) 305/35/19 in all season. The rear 285s were fine on the GT350? Any pics?
