Boy, someone has been going down memory lane early this morning!
Nice pic. 'Cool' was driving down the freeway at 65 mph in a '67 mustang GTA(390), punching the throttle and lighting up the L60x15's mounted on Cragers. If you wanted to add racing stripes, there were no stickers. You bought rattle-cans and lots of masking tape. Cool to the bone, baby.
Going home with a few 13 second times slips after tubing the car to fit steam rollers.
Towing it with 4 wheel drum brakes and most likely no trailer brakes.
Ah, the things we did and got away with.
i will join in my 66 i bought new circuit raced for a few years then went into a higher class {sports sedans} running a 351w with a paxton blower then retired it as my tow car for the new race car
