EDIT: FIXED HERE: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/th...ng-unloading-side-to-side.190082/post-4061107

17GT, 30k mi. stock suspension

I have a creaking noise that happens when the car loads and unloads left to right. The sound comes from the right rear.

It never happens if the car goes over a bump straight (like a neighborhood speed bump)

I also can't recreate it by pushing down directly on the right rear and bouncing the car as much as I can.

I'm going to be replacing IRS parts with KellTrac's S550 Mustang IRS Bushing Upgrade Kit, Level 1 (kelltrac.com) kit soon, and I figured I'd like to get this figured out and fixed at the same time.

Any ideas to help me pinpoint it?

Mine was the knuckle to toe-link bearing on the passenger rear. I would start there.

That doesn't look too bad! and it looks like it's an upgrade in bearing type as well.

Do we need to grease these anywhere to keep them from squeaking? I've heard that can be an issue with delrin.

I finally found time to try and find the source of the squeaking and found this. Part number is JR3W-4A263-EA and I understand it is called Differential Carrier Mount. I guess it is supposed dampen vibration. Anyway, mine kinda flops around. Anyone have any experience with this thing? Does is interfere with installation of a differential bushing kit? I suspect it will have to go.

I am not sure if this is the cause of the noise, but I found passenger LCA bushing torn and the driver side differential starting to split at the 12 o'clock. The dealership is booked up until Oct 9th!!!

nevermind on this, the instruction pdf says how to get it handled with loctite.

@jmorris47 did you ever figure out your squeak? Mine has gotten worse to where it does it going over bumps straight now too. I haven't replaced anything yet, as I've been reading horror stories of not being able to get the toe link bushing out with out a shop. I also have new LCA sphericals from Kelltrac to go in, but heard that's even worse install-wise. I may just have to remove the LCAs and take them somewhere, but was trying to avoid that.

I wish there was a semi-easy way for me to isolate where the squeak is coming from so I'm not just throwing parts at the car.

This is now fixed!

I swore the issue was from the suspension, but after a reddit search yielded this: Creak noise from rear 2017 GT S550 : r/Mustang (reddit.com) I thought, maybe? just maybe?

I got in the back seat and wrenched the passenger seat back side to side and heard just a bit of squeak, but the driver's side rear didn't do it at all.

I pulled the seats down and noticed wear marks on the seat D-rings on the body where the seat back attaches when you close it.

I wrapped the face of the D-rings with electrical tape on both sides and closed them up. The close is now much more solid.

SQUEAKS GONE. They were all inside the car!
