I don't care what the Camaro guys thinks about Mustangs, I actually like Camaros. The article was just a funny read for me, almost like satire except it wasn't. Thought you guys would enjoy reading it too

Convenient they included the ZL1 but left out the GT500 even though the 500 was available when the article was written. Also left out the Mach 1. I’ve seen a lot of dumb articles but this one is one of the dumbest. Even when you know it’s going to be biased towards a certain brand.

I think everyone wants some validation about whatever car they bought. I drove both the Camaro and Mach 1 before deciding. As a kid in the 60's, I owned both a '69 SS350 convertible, and a '67 GTA fastback 390, among others. I am not whiskey tango enough to own a straight-line mopar; so that choice is out.
The Camaro is fast, handles great and has a good reputation. Ultimately, I wanted a car that performs, I could see out of, has a decent ride quality and has sexy curves. I can afford a Corvette, but would not be caught dead with one, as you will never get me to wear unbuttoned shirts with a gold chain necklace. Corvette and Cadillac drivers seem to be cut from the same mold.
This brought me back to my roots. Just bought a new '22 Mach with the tremec. Happy as hell. All those other cars are great for someone else. We each should be happy with our choices, as life is too short.

I’d have no problem owning a C7 Vette, even if it required me to wear jorts and white New Balance shoes 😂. C8 is fun but too cramped for me.

I test drove a couple current gen Camaros with the full intention of buying one but the visibility is not good. I do prefer the styling of the Mustang over the Camaro also.

I like the camaro, but sitting in it made me feel like a 3 year old in a bathtub. But I did really like the seats.

And some are wrapped up about people referring to Mustangs as Muscle Cars instead of Pony Cars. Chillax.

Because they ad nothing to the bottom line Just like the Mustang.
Unlike Ford they have the vette .
Truth be told, only reason the stang lives on is a union contract and Ford with nothing they let the hacks at flat rock build in place of the pony car that buyers will look the other way on the panel fit, paint and Q.C. in general.

Silly comparing the ZL1 to a GT in performance. However, even if they used the GT500 they’d see the ZL1 out grip, out brake, and out “figure 8” the big bad GT500. Not to mention heated/cooled/elec Recaros and forged wheels as standard equipment. At least it beats the ZL1 to 60. Oh wait, it doesn’t. At least it beats it in the 1/4 mile. Well, maybe by a tenth on an unprepped surface. It out traps the ZL1, though. All for similar money. Oh wait, not that either.

500 looks better, sounds better, has a much more engaging and fun engine, and is WAY faster up top. Preferences I guess.
