Joined up with EAA today, got my X-Plan pins, and a $750 eCertificate.

I built my Mustang online and with X-Plan it MSRPs @ $37,996.

Aside from the eCertificate, I know I'm eligible for a $500 student rebate, another $500 rebate, and a possible additional $500 rebate come January.

With things going my way, that's $2250 in total. Would that come off of the X-Plan MSRP or the OTD price?

Also, what other rebates/incentives are available? Which rebates won't accumulate with each other?

Any further insight would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I plan on pulling the trigger in the next two weeks here. Want to finalize a list of all possible rebates before I go in.

Couldn't really get the dealers down further in price than $39,000 out the door.

You can't really play it that way besides X-plan. Xplan is set pretty much.

Rebates are applicable only when the car arrives (when you pay for it), 6-10-12 weeks, however long it may be with the plant shutdown at the end of this month, from now. All current rebates expire 1/5/15. Have to kind of risk it right now or order after 1/5/15 when/if new rebates come.

Alright, thanks for the info.

A salesmen I spoke with mentioned rebates being applicable from date of order, not sure what he was on about. The $750 certificate wouldn't be in the same boat?

Could you please provide more information on the 3 $500 rebates? I was looking into the student rebate on Ford website. It clearly says for 2013/2014 models and the Mustang is not eligible.

Dream Big Cash, Student, and some other rebate I was told there's a good chance of becoming available next year.

As for the student rebate I sat with a salesmen and he told me word for word I'd be eligible for a 500 student rebate on the car. Maybe he's full of it.

Oh ok. Thanks. I should talk to a salesman about this.

I assume that is without rebates.

It's decent, just about Xplan/invoice pricing; maybe a few hundred under (what it would be with the $500 current rebate really for us taking delivery before 1/5/15). Make sure to get it in writing and signed by the manager to honor that price.

You can keep waiting but you wont get a better price honestly as it's already slightly below invoice. It will only get cheaper if rebates pop up around the time the car is delivered/when you pay for it.

I believe that is w/o rebates but I will be sure to double check with the salesman.

He said I won't pay over that number. He sent me a screen cap of the print out with that number on it. Going to finalize everything within the next week.

In order to use (any) $750 Rebates or $500 Ford Finance rebate, the Purchase & Sale Agreement indicating the "delivery date" of 1/5 must be processed. Technically, you can actual take possession of the Car a week or more later when you actually drive it home (but) your Warranty will still start on 1/5/15. Willing to give up a week or 2 of Warranty coverage to save an additional $1250? Hell yeah......

Hmmm, what then if I'm placing an order and it's 6-8 weeks?
