Need Some Help Here

I have never special ordered a vehicle before, so does anyone know what the steps would be in doing so?

I had planned on using X-Plan to get the car at invoice (.996+$275), but I was told by Mustang Club of America by email that it would take 2-3 weeks to get my X-Plan information in the mail.

As you all know, the order bank for 2017 MY cars closes June 30th. Not sure what to do here, as I likely won't even pick up the car until mid-late August.

Is there a way to ensure that I am able to utilize X-Plan, despite currently waiting for my PIN to arrive in the mail? I am very dead set on a 2017 GT Premium PP w/401+Adaptive CC and Recaro leather and have to jump on it ASAP.

Can I work all that out pricing when taking delivery and just simply place a deposit down in the meantime?

I would talk with your local dealership. you know what you want and when you want it. Go talk to them and see if they will work with you.
and worse comes to worse the 2018 is damn nice as well.

Thanks for your help Timm, but I've become really dead-set on avoiding a 2018. Having issues with my order placed on June 26th.
