Appreciate the input.... 🤡
My brother, it appears you may be relatively new around here. But the oil argument and what type to use and what brand is best is one of the most widely debated and dragged out topics here. There is an overwhelming plethora of information available to you, and all you have to do it use the search feature and you’ll find frankly even more than you’re looking for lol.

I am new here.... I have been doing my research... and that is why I wanted to see what the majority of owners with similar vehicles preferred. Being that I work over 60 hrs a week I figured I could post a question here without upsetting someone for asking a question they didn't want to hear.

As with any other forum, the "Which oil is best" discussion is likely the most highly debated, bitched about, cried about topic.

If you want good oil at a reasonable price, that is easy to get choose Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w-30. (Usually have to order this from Amazon or Walmart online, most parts stores only carry the Platinum)

If you track the car, and oil temps are exceeding 220-230 degrees regularly, use the Motorcraft full synthetic 5w50, or Amsoil 5w-50 SS.

in my opinion, Amsoil 0w-40 SS is the best of both world's, and I also don't really GAF what anyone else thinks. Again, people get all kinds of worked up about this topic, and have their own completely baseless, anecdotal evidence to support their choices.

Use full synthetic, change it frequently. (Especially if running Ethanol) and don't worry too much about it otherwise.
