Roush Tune Dyno and Review

I have looked everywhere for a review and dyno for the Roush tune. Does anyone know of a thread with the info?

I know I should do a Lund, Bama or other tune, but I really like having the additional warranty and a tune that plays nice with 87 octane when I don't want to pay for 91.

Performance pac tune. No SC. They claim a 29whp and 36lbft at 4300 rpm, but don't give the overall output numbers. Can't find anywhere it was tested or confirmed.

You'd probably be better off with one of the Ford power pack tunes. You can see the dynos of those on LMR and the forum as well.

How has the Roush performance pac been out for years and pushed by the dealers, and still not have anything online?

well I didn't even realize they had that performance pack. i personally would stay away as i had the roush tune with my blower and it left a lot to be desired so i quickly switched to a custom VMP tune. i would imagine the tune for that is pretty similar since no one on here ever talks about having it. lots of better options out there IMO.

Finally found something and the dealer (or douchbag youtuber) is claiming 480hp from the rough CAI, tune and axlebacks. WTF?

Why are you paying so much money that could be spent towards your 87 octane? Did you fall on your head?

I put on over 25k miles per years and the 91 is 50 to 70 cents more per gallon here.

I had the Roush tune on my Roush Supercharger and it was total trash. I had the Phase II and Roush says it is good for 727 HP and it didn't put out anything close to that. I'm very disappointed with the Roush Supercharger and the power output and wish I could get my money back.

I have the Roush Tune and CAI on my 5.0 and it's a noticeable difference. Shifts are quicker and I can push further into red line than before when I had the stock tune. CAI brought some life to the throttle response, it's very quick reacting and sensitve over bumps. It's louder too. All in all I'm happy with it.

Sounds like you are a little disappointed in Roush (tic)...do you have any dyno sheets you could share to show what the Roush Phase II produced?

Get a tune from Lund or vmp and fix it. The tvs blower is a pure animal once tuned properly. This is why I went with the vmp version of the tvs though. Better internals and elbow on the blower which gives 30-50rwhp over the roush tvs.

I have a 2017 GT with the roush CAI and Bama tuner, went from 385whp to just shy of 450 running 93.

The BAMA tuner is the best imo since you get free custom tunes for life when you buy through americanmuscle.com
