I got a 2022 301A GT 6 speed the end of February, it's got 1500 miles on it now, been taking it easy breaking in the motor, I let it warm up until the oil temperature is normal... Varoom!
It's a little loud, doesn't have the active valve exhaust.
I always let mine warm up. It’s an 18 M6 with 50K on the clock and I still let it warm up. I start it 15 min before going anywhere. 👍🏼

Hi Jerry. There is really no need to let it idle that long. Just wait until the RPM's drop after startup and go on your way. Just do not go crazy until after the temps normalize.

Then began the rabbit hole of endless mods! Sitting at about $10,000 in mods done so far. Haven't even done a power adder yet:cwl:
I hear that. It sure doesn’t take long to spend quite a bit on mods.

didn't know where to post but picked up my new 2022 GT today, 6MT shadow black

Thing is a beast, can't wait to go crazy with mods. Only went up to 4k rpms, when it hits 1k miles though
Congrats on the new car! Looks good! I've always been partial to black as well, and nothing looks better when it's clean. Decided to switch it up this time around but black is hard to beat!

What's that?
I live in an apartment so I do an absolute rinseless wash with a pump sprayer and some buckets

Yeah I would have preferred carbonized grey metallic like my old ecoboost, but unfortunately didn't have any say in the matter since it was the last 2022 GT the dealer had being shipped to them. But black still looks aggressive

Love the murdered out look as well. My neighbor has a black GT500, no stripes, window tint and the black wheels. Most beautiful car I’ve ever seen. There’s a GT350R around that is also black and has black matte stripes, that is another beautiful looking car

Interesting that step 1 if there is any noticeable dirt on your car you do a "pre-wash". So you wash your car and then do an additional set of rinseless wash stuff? Maybe I don't understand what the pre-wash is since they didn't include instructions on how to do that part. It doesn't sound like this is for me. I would never wash my car unless it had noticeable dirt and a single wash is plenty for me.

My prewash consists of spraying the car down with water then a foam cannon. Let the soap dwell for a few minutes, rinse off and then go to the 2 bucket hand wash.

Rinseless washing is for people like me that live in an apartment with no access to a waterhose lol, basically you mix the concentrated solution into a pump bucket sprayer ratio 1/256, do a "prewash" where you just spray the whole car down to emulsify as much dirt as possible. Then in another bucket with the same solution, you use microfiber towels to wipe down all the dirt. Then I give a final spray down with the pump sprayer before using turtlewax wax and dry and new towels to dry the car.

I use the rinseless in my garage in the winter for light cleaning. If I have heavy amounts of dirt and salt I’ll go to a touchless washand spray it down really good then come home and hit it with the rinseless. Works really well and is a great option for apartment dwellers as you mention
