Just because you say something, doesn't make it true.

My opinions are supported by my driving record, which certainly has statistical predictions associated with it. Other peoples' statistics may not support the same thoughts. Also: It isn't about you. No regulation or law or rule is about any one person. It's about what's statistically likely to be more beneficial or less beneficial to society as a whole.
Prove it. Find something here that's factually wrong.Just because you say something, doesn't make it true.
i said i don't know you and i don't need toTo assume that you know any individual just because you know human nature in general is to stick your head in the sand.

  :lol:What I hate is when I hit my breaks the lights on the back come on. Suggestions on how to disable that?
It all comes down to that, no? Feel free to consider what that implies.without the need for manual intervention
Whew that was a close one! Been there before, glad it turned out alright. I agree with you completely but in my experience Stupid finds a way no matter what you do.On this subject: I almost got hit today driving to work; if the vehicle that almost hit me had DRL's, there would have been no risk of an accident.
It was raining like crazy, and so visibility was limited. I was driving down a one-way street when a panel van blew a red light and came through the intersection from my left. Luckily, it slammed on the brakes and I was able to swerve out of the way before a collision, but if the car had DRL's, I would have seen it coming soon enough to stop beforehand.
Again, the DRL's aren't about you; they're about everybody else. This guy / gal should have had headlights on in the rain... but didn't. Not giving people the option to be stupid can save lives.
Norm, You won`t have to retro-fit DRL`s unless you buy a Ford vehicle. Now that Mazda, Nissan and Chrysler have put them on (most) of their 15` Cars, seems like Ford is the last hold out. Guess we have to rant on something else.It all comes down to that, no? Feel free to consider what that implies.
If it makes you feel any better, as I get older I probably will at least run parking lights under a wider variety of conditions. Can't run DRLs on cars that don't have them, and no, I won't backfit any.
