I don't think they'll depreciate that much if at all. Maybe a tiny bit the next year or two as the economy and market trend down, but after that I can't see them having any meaningful depreciation.
In 5 years a low miles 2022 won’t be selling for 85k-90k

Maybe maybe not, but you have no clue whether that's true or not lol. Low mileage 13-14 GT500's are selling for over MSRP as we speak. I think it goes without saying the newer ones are much more special than those were (and I loved them).

That was a great buy today. The day after Xmas hurt that sale a bit in my opinion. I thought the color was really slick to.

To the OP. Question. Are you doing the purchase of the 500 by itself, or are you trading your 350 in on it? The way the car is spec’d(500) the add-ons are a nice bonus. The hard parts are pretty straight forward. The one thing I would ask is if the ppf was done as pre-cut patterns or if it was hand cut on the car. That would be my most important ask and inspection. There’s a reason why you rarely hear a negative about these cars. There just that good.

This low mileage car just sold for MSRP plus a buyer fee of about 4500 or so. You should be able to find a 21 at or near MSRP, especially this time of year. Good luck.

Yea, that car stood out. I bid on it but bailed around 95k. Too many toys already. You're right about Christmas time sales. Prices will probably be on the lower end till spring.

I like the upgrades and if they have the stock pieces that would be ideal (I would want any o.e. stock parts to include the suspension & intake).

Looks to be a nice well cared for vehicle!

As far as depreciation, the vehicle will fall possibly in overall value. If you look at the "dollar" price you paid it may look good, but the value of that dollar is unfortunately worth significantly less.

I was open to either or. Would've been nice to find a dealer close enough to navigate a trade in for a new one. From what I gathered after I took a look at Manheim, wholesale, retail, etc, it seemed pretty safe to say that at the bottom, I could grab around $45k trade in and with average retail hanging around $50k, I think with my current setup/condition, I could probably grab a quick private sale around $48-$49K.

I will certainly ask about the PPF. This aspect was actually a nice bonus for me. Was going to be an immediate expense once I got the car home and considering transport costs, I think it balances out to get me over that hump of moving forward.

All stock pieces are included, which is great. Car appears to be sublime. Never driven in the rain, properly maintained, etc.

From a depreciation perspective, I understand this is a huge can of worms, but at this price point, for what you get, I just don't see how you could really take a huge bath in these cars. This one will be driven and miles will add up, but that's the risk we take to get into something we enjoy on a daily basis.
