I have a pair of the angled adapters, i just havent installed them yet.

My ocd is triggered with the cel lol at the same token, Ive driven the car with the light on for quite a while.
Please let us know if this corrects the light. Thanks

Seriously, why would anyone buy from this jerk?

No need to wade through endless chatter I linked to the time. Only will take about 10 seconds of your time.

Thanks for your input. If I can do something to prevent a light, I will. I don't like lights, but that's just me.

The light is no inconvenience. It doesn’t glare. It doesn’t intimidate. It doesn’t harass. It just sits there, tiny and barely illumined, as if to say, “Just enjoy your v8-equipped car and stop worrying about the little things.”
The problem with this is that if there is any other actual problem that triggers a CEL, you'll not know about it because you assume that the existing CEL is just the rear O2 sensors complaining about the post-cat exhaust reading being out of parameter.

This specific thing needs to be addressed so that I'll be informed of any real issue that pops up in the future with any other sensor.

Try the defoulers. Sometines you will need to add spacers but in 99% of the time they will kill the light. I suppose the EPA will out law them next.

So the last thing I need to be fbo on my 19 gt is headers (plan on getting tuned by Lund) but I have read that the CEL will come on with catless headers, but also there are O2 sensors that will help with that now, can anyone confirm that?

Also what is the difference between catless and cattend? Is it big enough for me to care if I just go catted? Because I haven’t been able to find many catless in stock on multiple sites
You're in NC? You should have visual inspections then (maybe your county does not do this though?). I'm also in NC and I have catted headers. Originally I had the 200 cell cats included with the headers and still got a CEL. I then used spacers/defoulers which did get rid of the CEL. But they do fail them where I'm at for a visual inspection if they see them. So...if you don't have a visual inspection required, you could get away with a spacer/defouler.

I had to use higher cell cats (400 cell from GESI) to not trigger a CEL and pass inspection. These are also very pricey now unfortunately.

My thoughts exactly. The light being in all the time prevents any real problem from being reported back to the driver.

When you say if they see them you’re talking about the defoulers right? I don’t think where I live in nc atleast to get it inspected that they’re that strict I think they just do a quick check of the basics

Same here. I am not doing mods to have erroneous Cautionary dash lights which stay on all of the time. For me, I will not drive my cars with any fault light illuminated. Thanks

Correct. If your inspection includes a visual of emission components, and they see a spacer or defouler of any kind where your O2s are, they will fail you. And obviously they'll fail you for no cats at all. You may want to verify what they check for where you are if you're unsure.
