My local dealer wanted $3400 for the same that I got from Granger for $1590 (96/100k Premium). I could not get the local guys to budge. Crazy markup, but I think that’s the MSRP for it. Sell none at full price, or sell lots at lower price, and make money and good will. I guess my dealer makes enough if he just gets one or two suckers. At that price I would have not gotten any. Granger is doing a great business for Ford.

My dealer would not budge either and actually cussed me out and said this wasn't a legitimate ESP.

Is the ESP only for things that break or are defective? Or also for normal consumables (battery, oil change, air filters, break pads, etc).

I am asking b/c my Audi WECARE plan covered everything a few years back. Except tyres and gas.

Not consumables, it s not s service plan but EXTENDs the Original Manufactures warranty.

There are multiple plans available. ESP is solely an extended warranty plan. You can also get the Premium Maintenance Plan. There are also plans for tires and windshields.

There's the ESP, and then there's the Maintenance plan. Two different things. The maintenance plan covers normal consumables.

You can add maintenance as well, premiumcare is for the extended warranty.
