Yes, the coverage is from the original in service date. So if you purchase and 8 year coverage it runs for 8 years from original in service date, not 8 years from date of purchase.Thanks Zach. Brooke responded to my email telling me the 3 yr(5yr?)/36,000 mile warranty runs concurrently with my factory 3yr/36k mile warrant.
That doesn't make any sense. It should be consecutively with my factory warranty-so it kicks in after my factory warranty expires.

Kidding aside I didn’t buy my ESP for the powertrain as much as the electronics. Far better chance of something really expensive going wrong there. Heck, the first thing I used my ESP on was the stupid pony puddle lamp on my drivers side mirror.
