Sorry, I saw your gt500 avatar.
Sorry.Sorry, I saw your gt500 avatar.
So are you asking if the 500 CFTP hub and 350 R hub are the same? I don't know. I would bet the R model studs/hubs would accept the 500 CFTP wheels.
I would suggest CFTP hubs around all 4 corners.Sorry.
I have 2020 gt500 carbon wheels that I want to put on my 2016 350 (non r)
I have both a 2020 500 and I just purchased 2016 350
Got it.I would suggest CFTP hubs around all 4 corners.
Replacing the studs is a pain in the ass. There was a tool who did it and made a video. Just get the hubs.
Its a lot easier than replacing each stud. Bonus.... If you ever sell the car, you can put it all back to stock.Got it.
I see some used track pack ones on eBay for $300 ish each. Maybe I will just do that. Thanks !
I installed GT350R hubs with R studs on my 350 to run
a set of GT350R CF wheels. But wanted to have a little fun with some 500 CF's first. Open lug nuts are needed because the R studs are longer than the 500 wheels require. The rear offsets on the 500 wheels also cause some poke a little much but it's ok for some short term use. I'm guessing the 500 has a narrower rear suspension setup because the quarter panels are the same on 350 & 500.... I think.
What length studs did you use?I ended up replacing just the studs. It was about a 7 hour job.
