What size are those?

I'm thinking there's modern tires that fit your car.
I spent 8 years building this car to be an accurate recreation. It is an aluminum-bodied Cobra and pretty much every part will swap with an original - down to the correctly coded Wilmot-Breeden keys. The originals had 15" wheels and tires as does mine. Anyway, I know this is not a Cobra forum, I just wanted to show a couple of pictures of my freshly cleaned Cobra using many products recommended by DFB5.0

For which I for one am grateful you did. A beautiful car that shows the love you have put into it. Honestly though I do not know what is funnier. The ridiculous post telling you that your tires suck or the patience you have in giving him a legitimate answer as to why they don’t. :like:

You can't drive around in a car like this and not expect to get a lot of comments or questions:like:

Sorry for the Hijack... Back to the awesome Mustang pictures.

All respect, that's a beautiful car. Nice build. Very impressive.

That must be one mean sumbitch to drive.

Went to Cars and Coffee. The orange F100 is from the youtube channel TFL car. It's a Tesla electric conversion. I got to check it out.

Had a cancellation today for detailing a customer’s car So I spent my time machine polishing my own cars.
Did both the Roush and Shelby. Stripped the old wax off, then machined polished with Jeweling Wax from McKee’s 37. It’s my favorite go to polish for 7 years for extra pop. Of course McKee’s has discontinued it, I found 3 bottles on line so I scooped them up. I’m In the process of trying to find a replacement product that matches the numbers on my gloss meter.

After much deliberation and some false starts I’m right there with you on the old school wax mode too. Both my Mustangs are unashamed pretty day only cruisers and will only ever see rain accidentally. My biggest concern is protecting the front end from bugs until I can get home that day and take care of it. So right now I’m just using good ol’ Meguiar’s Cleaner Wax with a lot of Ultimate Quik Detailer and Ultimate Quick Wax on top. I like the way it looks and it’s easy to deal with, but obviously it wouldn’t be the solution for a DD.

I have also considered using Meguiar’s Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax as a topcoat for a little more protection but haven’t gone that way yet. Good news is that Meguiar’s says it’s OK to stack these products and actually kinda encourages it.

I use the Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax on my wife’s SUV and it’s really good for a liquid wax.
