I really like that headlight blackout you did! I bet that could be done with Plasticoat too if vinyl isn't available.

Glad you like it. I already have the 3M material, and I have done the hard work to create the template. I just need to make the time to cut the final pieces. I am waiting for some warmer weather here down under to fit them.

I plan to do some blacking out the surface area below the front indicators.

I didn't do it all of this myself, but my Twister Orange Stang now has over-the-top and side stripes fitted. I think the matte black stripes tones the orange down a bit.

Below is a prototype of blacking out around the headlamps I made from cheap vinyl that I have removed, but will re-install with proper 3M material one day soon. I think it gives the car a 'meaner' look.

Thanks, I must’ve missed seeing that car. It might be like finding a needle in a haystack trying to find the image, but I don’t think I’ve seen both areas being done together.

It would probably be quicker for me just to trial the look with the same temporary material are used in the headlight region.

Great looking car in the best color! I like the stripes, it accents the color and shape. I hate the white striping borders on the black stripes in my TO Mach, I'm tempted to do something like you've done. Are the side stripes matte black too?

Sunlight brings out the sparkle in the GB metallic.

Hit a damn coyote on the way to the gym last week. (yeah I know the irony). Living in the desert has its pros and cons. Local body shop won't be able to get me In until the first week of Sept. Going to a shop that's in Ford's certified collision network.

I can't believe I got four years out of the stock battery. It didn't die on me, but testing it showed it was starting to weaken. Since I'm headed on a road trip next month, I wasn't willing to be stuck out in BFE so I replaced it. Duralast Platinum 96R-EFB.

Ford Performance OEM clear tails. Looks great on shadow black. My next move was to replace the rear deck lid with the FP blank one, but now that the car is done, I'm leaving the GT. Its shadow black, and tinted, the rear red markers and bumper reflectors are smoked, the OEM 20" wheels and chrome emblems on the front, back and sides just match the theme. I'm going to add the Roush axle back in a couple of months, and then I may be done for awhile.
