So I’ve been surfing the forum but not able to find a clear answer.
I have a 2015 base gt (6 speaker system) I upgraded my door and rear speakers to the jbl gto 629’s and added a sub in 2015 and felt the door and rear speakers still sounded bad at higher volume. I’ve read this would be due to the stock HU not having an amplifier.
I currently have a px6 (10.4 Phoenix audio headunit) installed and it came with the RCA inputs for the sub so I’m no longer using an LOC
Im looking to add an amp for the rear speakers and possibly upgrade my current and I’m using for the sub.
I seen this picture and wondering if someone could explain it to me.
From my understanding, this member has cut into the wire running to the rear speaker, running the wire into the LC2i,
through the rca’s into the aftermarket amp
and then to the rear deck speakers?
Also if I were to have an aftermarket amp I would then run the second set of rca’s from the LC2i to the second amp then suns correct
