It's official my car was built 2 months ago today.

Only info I have is the delivery date is MAY 11th. It's just a Oxford white 301a manual with active exhaust and black accent. That it. Nothing special. I really wish I vould talk to someone who can give me actual facts on why it's taking so long to ship my car. Hell I would gladly get it myself and save over $1000 and months of my life waiting for someone to bring it to the dealer for me.

Sorry everyone I just need to vent.
It's okay I got my build date around Feb 23ish, and shipped out around March 26, was suppose to arrive by April 13 for my ecoboost premium. But you know... it's still being "shipped" while it's arrived in Canada already.

Anyone from Europe still waiting for his/her pony? I have made the order in October 21, got postponed several times and the final assembly date was March 23. Now the dealer say it was postponed again, by 2-4 weeks (??) and no update ... that is more than six months from the initial order ... And as it takes up to three months to get the car over the sea, this summer seems to be out of the picture ... grr.

Also in the UK ordered in September. Last update was it is in the compound in Newark but dealer's system hasn't been updating so he reckons it is on a boat.

At least you have shorter delivery times. It seems to me the EU model has much lower production quotas ...

Well boys, I'm having to officially bow out of the waiting room. My lack of patience got the best of me. I felt like my order was likely not going to be fulfilled and delivered until late summer or possibly early fall. Knowing me, I would have started configuring a 2023 vehicle and started the cycle anew.

I started adding up all of the modifications I wanted and the bill started pushing me into looking into higher trims. Dampers, wheels, suspension, exhaust....too much time looking over Mustangs. Went out and somehow ended up with a 6 speed Mach 1. Pretty stupid when I think of what I originally ordered.

Anyway, good luck to those still waiting. Hope you guys are out on the streets soon. Will have some parts available that I impatiently began buying for the GT that will no longer fit the Mach 1 for sale soon.....
I saw all this waiting pain last year when I was ready to buy. Was going to order but at the same time I put everything I wanted for sure in my dream GT down to color and options (group 401a) set the searches a the online sites and found the GT exactly as I would of ordered it, only 4k miles on it. Deal done, no ADM, even had price dropped 2 times. I feel your pain...

"Hi my name is Chad and I'm a waiter, I've been patient now 4 months. Ronnie is my sponsor here and has kept me from shopping online..." "Amen brother" Chorus replies.

My order was confirmed on 17 February, I have zero updates ever since then. No VIN, dealer has no news either. At the time of signing the order, he said to have a worst case of ~8 months lead time, so I would get the car latest by end of October. (I hope it will happen much sooner though.)

How many e-mails did you receive from Ford? Did they send you more details about VIN allocation, etc., or all the updates you got are from the dealer?

Lucky you, there are no used convertible GTs 10AT 2018+ for sale here ... even looking at the German and other markets, there are some V6, some ecoboosts or "water damage" cars from the US. The good ones are kept and stored :-)

I've received two e-mails directly from Ford. The first e-mail confirmed my order. The second e-mail told me the car was scheduled for production.

I received a third e-mail from the salesperson, pretty much a check-in ("er, it's been months. you still want it, right? LOL.) and confirming the build date.

Oh yea, be sure to confirm your e-mail address with the dealer.

So... what even happens when your car is arrived in the city, not sitting at the dealer's lot for 6+ weeks now.
