So it's been said that posts referring to the upcoming 7G Mustang are not welcome here and are deferred over to 7g site.

If we can't post anything about 7G here, then why do the 7G site posts continue to show up in the above "Latest Posts" section here on 6g?

It's not that they're not welcome here, but we have a specific sister site, so it just makes sense that all 7G discussion is on the 7G forum. Just as we wouldn't expect to discuss 6th gen cars on the 7the gen forum.

As for the posts being shown on the "latest posts" section above........click on them and they'll take you to the 7G website.

Thanks for the reply.

Understood - I agree with your statement and in no way am I trying to be a smarty or cause issue, just wondering - because it's a conflict in statements or design intent.

Why is a 7G thread hyperlink on this 6G forum to begin with if the ideology is the 2 sites and discussions should remain separate from each other based on site content? Every time there is a new post on 7G, it's populating the 6G Latest Posts section and bumping out the actual 6G posts.

IMO, there shouldn't be links in Latest Posts for anything 7G+, on this 6G site (and vice versa), do you agree? It's contradictory to trying to keep the data and content separate - if A can't be posted on B, then why display A in Latest Posts... and vice versa.

And just one other tiny thing while on site specific subject matter. While I get the MachE and the 7G redirect are "sister sites", their hyperlinks in the main 6G Forum listings should also be moved since neither are not 6G elements. Pop them both under the "Other Fords" section - users can still find and link to them from there. :handshake::)
