I passed by an EG Bronco waiting to turn off a side street an hour ago. I had picked up my daughter and a couple of her friends from track practice, otherwise I may have turned around for a little better look.

Needless to say, I think we're going to love this color, it looked great. Typical dull, dreary Michigan day and it was nice, deep and dark. That color is going to get a lot of compliments.

I guess I'm going to post this in a few locations:
GOOD NEWS!
Ford will be scheduling Mustang production for May next week. First time scheduling since the end of February, when they did scheduling for April. If you get picked your dealer should know by 3/25, for Build Week dates of 5/2, 5/9 and 5/16. They do the actual scheduling on Thursdays, sometimes going over to Friday mornings.

That one in the link was ordered in December, and scheduled for April, maybe the flood gates open for HP and EG M1s in May!!!

Ford has changed their rendering color for EG. IIRC it was never listed as metallic before only "Eruption Green", now it says "Eruption Green Metallic".

This change is only showing on "My Ford" order status screen, not on the 2022 Mustang configurator.

I think the two rendering are really the same color with the difference being the original (bottom) represents full sunlight, and the new one (top) being more subdued lighting. The few pictures of the only Mustang seen in EG, a GT500 resembles both of these sets of shots depending on the lighting.

As far as listing "Metallic" the metal flake is where EG gets it's eruption from, it really explodes in the sunshine.

I'm aware of all of this, I know it's a metallic color - I just don't recall it being officially referred to as such.

I don't know about "Temper" but hopefully it is a sign they are finally going to build some!

Like I've said a few times before, the closer it looks like my old '67 Dark Moss Green (which was Metallic) 390GT Fastback, the better. At night it looked black, in the sun it looked like the lighter (early) EG renders, except the metallic on my '67 was more silver, the metal in EG looks to be more of a gold.

I hope that EG is still available in a couple of years on the Bronco, by then a person might be able to order one with some realistic expectation of actually getting it....
