Not on the car, but for the car … :like:

Finally got the ‘perfect’ (for me) water supply set up for my detailing bay i.e. my driveway :giggle:

I replaced the single tap recently with a twin setup and added a new hot water tap.

The taps are ball valve as they have no restriction and offer fast single turn operation. Everything was stainless, brass or copper, other than the tap handles.

Soon fixed with stainless :

Which also allowed me to fix the shut off angles of the old handles (i.e. keep my OCD in order lol) :

Left to right :
  • Hot with bucket filler (no restrictions).
  • Cold jet wash connection (no restrictions).
  • Cold hose (with auto stop).

If I really wanted, I can also quickly connect the hot tap to the hose with a male to male connection that stores underneath the hose reel.

The reels got 30 meters (98 foot) of hose on it which just about allows me to get to all areas of the garden :like:

Did a full exterior detail today since summer arrived early. washed, clay bared, polish and prep for new ceramic coat. I went with Gyeon MOHS EVO. I’m happy with the results but beat!😃 all day event. I’ll ceramic coat the trim tomorrow.

back in the 80s my friends dad created redline this was in novato. he had a 67 camaro with a ratt motor the car was fast as shit back then.
Funny because I live in Novato and a couple people I know knew him.

A couple years ago, RLO held an "Oil University" of sorts and invited my Car Club to it. Two of their lead chemists and head of marketing were the speakers and we learned how they do things, how they differ from the industry and a couple other little secrets.

It was really eye opening and ever since I have always run RLO fluids front to rear on my track car.

That sticker on your helmet is really cool.

Did that helmet come that way already? I got a white open-face helmet for the small amount of open track days I do, but been looking for a cool sticker and this would do fantastically on a white background...

Got the homelink for the garage door finally working. Such a simple thing yet, made my day.
Dude. Ford's homelink are some of the hardest remotes to set up of any car I've owned. Both mine and wife's F150 were hard to setup and also are hard to use. Maybe my garage openers themselves need to go.

Nice, can you share a link?

Is this the "official" coyote? Meaning, the ones people put on their fender as an emblem and such?

Got my Howler grill badge installed this morning.
Pro tip:
It helps a lot if you have the skinny arms of a 20yo girl........ Just so happens my daughter WAS home..... 😎
ETA Got the trunk lid done.
I must have watched the wrong YT video.
Damned GT was plastic welded from the back side of the deck lid panel.
I'll eventually get a new blank panel but from 10 feet away the two remaining holes aren't noticable
Good enough for now.

Thanks Deyon
It went on like butter with the DA. I just finished applying Gyeon ceramic coating for trim to all the trim today and Gtecnique to the glass. Two full days of detailing and I still need to do the wheels! 😩

Never used to be hard, lol. My 2006 Taurus homelink was the easiest thing ever
