I'm not sure if this is allowed, but I'm currently looking for GT350/GT350R, is anybody selling one or have a recommendation? It'd either be a 2019/2020 GT350 with the tech package or a 2016 GT350R. Every opinion and known cars for sale would help greatly!

I just bought 4 months ago ... check bring a trailer.... autotrader.... carmax cars seem to be little more expensive but can purchase warranty cheap from them from what I'm told

I wanted a specific color combination with certain options so depending on what you are looking for be ok spending a little too much if you find your unicorn as certain options can be hard to find

I missed out on several cars because I was trying to negotiate price and not jump in ... the car I bought was at a good price so I pretty much paid what they were asking ...

I set up alerts on my phone so everything a car got listed I got notified. The only reason I got my car was because of this. I bought the car within 2 hours of it being listed.

Good advice. Would you do anything differently? Did you feel the need to do PPI or trust the warranty process?

I was able to buy from a Ford dealership, and a tech owned the car who worked at the dealership - at first I thought it was a line of BS - little old lady owned it before/ Ford tech owned it before exc. but right before I did paperwork, the tech who owned the car before walked up and introduced himself...so he went over the car with me / everything that he had done- pointed out imperfections in paint exc..

As long as buying from a big dealer, I tend to trust the warranty process but it was a nice extra touch - I was also looking at CarMax cars

if buying from an individual- I would pay to have a Ford dealer check it out (unless I was presented with full service records)

Its funny because I missed out on multiple cars because I was trying to negotiate price only to have them bought out from underneath me ...but ended up getting a 19 R with 8K miles on it in the high 60s from a Ford dealer so in the end it worked out- but losing the cars before because they got bought while I was trying to negotiate was frustrating

I narrowed it down to a couple now because my unicorn is a 19/20 in light grey/dark blue with the cooled seats and upgraded sound system. If it has a carbon dash then it's icing on the cake, but it's slim picking to begin with :/. I've been looking a lot of sites and finding any in my area is rough enough to begin with. When I got my last car I did the notifications on BAT and ended up getting it off of facebook which I haven't really seen any on there.

If you can find an R that's 19/20 with low miles in the 60s and clean title then I might have to buy it and take it to your house to give you flowers

Appreciate you bringing this topic up. I am in the market myself and am potentially traveling with a 1 way flight to buy from a non-Ford dealer. While I am not looking for as rare of a find as you OP, the pickings are still pretty slim when trying to find a good deal

Originally I wasn't, but after what UpACurb said it made some sense and my dad agreed that since I'm going to be putting a minimum of 19k miles on it a year I should get something I really like. I figure that if I can get those features (what I have in my current 15 mustang) then it'd be a comfortable ride.. unless I can find any 19/20 R under 70 then everything goes out the window :)

Which one are you looking at if you don't mind me asking? (Heads up someone might try to swoop in on it)

I cant imagine anyone would swipe them as they're both posted for sale to see. Both cars are Perf Blue 2019s GT350s with around 14k miles in NJ. Both with all of the comfort features as I am like you where I plan to drive the car and want to be comfortable doing so :) Current price on both is at 62k which seems competitive assuming they are in good order

If that's the one at the Honda dealer I was looking at that one to :) that one seems to be great, but I noticed the blue stipe on the steering wheel looks a bit off, not sure if they are all like that

You got it. There are a couple of things that car has that I would consider a little odd. The stripe on the wheel does look a bit off and for some reason, the car is missing the GT350 badges completely on the front fenders. Holes are there for new ones, but I can't quite place why 1) they are missing and 2) why the dealership just didn't buy and put new ones on a $60k+ car...

A report on that one shows it to be clean, though its had some issues with electrical DTC codes pointing to a potential battery issue, but who knows. Lots of little things showing up that makes you wonder.

Bike4Pizza No clue how you found that so quick XD if I saw that at noon yesterday I would've swooped in on it (still might), but I might have the funding to go GT350R as a daily in 3 weeks :)
