I'd want real carbon fiber, the whole point of removing the seat is weight savings, a carpeted panel isn't what I think of, when I am putting a vehicle on a diet .

It looks very similar to the Ford piece for a lot less money. I agree it would be nice to see what they look like installed. I never use the rear seats anyway.

Carpet molded 20lbs depending on manufacturer and $130-200

Carbon fiber 13.8lbs and $1900 depending on manufacturer

I think I’d rather have an extra 6-10lbs in the back and put the left over money towards go fast parts. IMHO

I will say the carbon fiber does look good thou.

Right!?! At least with the carpeted piece you could put a few things back there and not have them sliding around like they would on the carbon bench.

20lbs for a couple square feet of carpet? Something's wrong here, it should be a few pounds at the most.

A plywood/pvc carpet delete is about 15-20lbs.

I was just throwing a number out that I saw online. I wouldn’t think it would weigh that much just kind of a worst case scenario. But 20lbs is better than 30lbs.

Me, I'd just pull the seats, fiberglass mat, and resin is 30 bucks. keylon gloss black 3.49. boom.
but my post was tongue and cheek.
If I removed my seat, I'd want the panel 2 piece, so it fold like the seat did, and the bottom squared off, to lay the top part on, when opening up the trunk well to the cabin. or to strap a tool box too. not a formed to car floor board panel. I mean it looks cool, but race car, function trumps looks.
