At that point why not just replace the mufflers and tips? Keep in mind that all Mach 1 exhaust are active so you will have the flaps

No, I have an aftermarket full exhaust and my work flawlessly. Never had any issues

Had that "WoW wtf that hurt" happen with my prior 2016 S550... luckily with my 2018 it came factory with rolled tips instead of the Ginsu tips...

I tried to clean the tips once. I noticed how sharp they were (fortunately just in time, before cutting my fingers) and decided right there and then that they were perfectly clean as they were, and that no extra cleaning will ever be necessary.

I have to wonder in a world where buying a set of blinds there's 7 tiny paragraphs of disclaimer legalese about strangling yourself in the cords and even installed safety clips on the cords, or forty thousand print warnings to not suffocate yourself with the plastic wrap on something you bought it's crazy that a huge car maker has an external part on their car you'd think wouldn't slice you trying to clean it but does. Strange still no smart-ass has decided to sue about it with his brother-inlaw the attorney. But maybe that's what makes Mustang owners different, we accept the risks of a high performance sports car or actually embrace it. ;-)

That's nothing. The day I got my Mk5 Mondeo I cut my finger trying to adjust my headrest. Those cavities meant to hold the headrest at various heights had sharp edges.
Someone at Ford must have really thick skin.
