Temps are getting cold here already. TC kicked in more than once today just making grocery trips; yes there was too much throttle involved

Anyway, I'll need to pull these wheels off sooner than later. I have my stock BA wheels with AS tires on them. Don't like them, but they're fine. Looking for spacers now to get them out more.

While the main wheels are off; I want to get the curb rash fixed, and get them powder coated in a new color. I've always wanted a bronze wheel on a grey car. I have many thoughts right now.

I know you're not a noob but I recommend putting sealer on your wheels, especially winter wheels, especially if they are black. I've done that for both my daily and track wheels and it protects them from brake dust etching (and/or winter crap), and they clean easier. It's easy to do when the wheels are off. I just apply sealer to the 4 wheels and then buff off the excess in the order that it was applied.

Having said that, I am ordering Power stop Z23 pads because I can't keep fighting the dust from OEM pads used daily. Even street pads will handle a single panic stop so why suffer through all the dust?

Finally, while I don't care for bronze wheels, they work for your car and as a bonus the dust won't show as bad.

Drove it home from work at 4am in track mode, with no one around. Other than the summer only tires, being like banana peels. and having almost no traction.
It was fun. Sorry to those that had me going by their house at 4am WOT , at least it is cold out so their windows are shut.

Oldest out with her uncle, youngest out with my other half = time for some winter detailing :like:

Snow foam (trying some new Autoglym stuff) :

This stuff is really tenacious and hangs around for ages, very slippy with my crocs on … lol

Two bucket wash, clay mitt and then polish and wax all the upwards facing surfaces + headlights + mirror caps.

Turtle wax hybrid ceramic (polish & wax) on the green stuff and the same but the black version on the roof, mirrors and vents.

I masked the roof and any trim :

As the black version has dyes in it that stain :

Smooth as silk and very glossy - I was loosing the light when I finished so the iPhone bleaches the colour out, but you get the idea :

Then took it for a drive to polish up the disks :sunglasses:

Washed her and found a spot to take some photos. A guy driving through the parking lot stopped and asked "You selling your car? I'll buy it!" I can't imagine what I'd replace her with...

White with black is a good color combo, IMO. Looks nice!

Been really thinking lately about doing a "white out" on the back end, both the back part of the trunk and the brake light housing, leaving the brake lights smoked. But then when I see my car, I'm quite content with how it looks - so I'll probably hold off on that visual mod till I feel like I'm bored with how it looks.

Got to drive it a little today. Picked wife up from work, took her to get her nails done and found another stang to park by.

I think your car looks good the way it is. That rear end shot, shows how muscular the look is from that angle, it's good looking from there, and I feel the contrast with the black panel and taillights and the black spoiler looks good. White and black is a good combo IMO. And the one you're parked next to, doesn't look as good as yours, it's not quite white.

The other is likely a Wimbledon White 1 of 1,964 50th Anniversary. Although not sure why it appear to not have bright window surrounds.

I agree, I do like the contrast of the black and white... But it feels overplayed. Kind of like black rims. So that's what I was looking at doing, just enough to make it a little more different than every other white stang out there.
But I'm not brave enough to go with another color for accents. So the cautious mediocrity path is what I'll continue with.
In real life, that other mustang was definitely more of a cream color and a little too soft for me. However, I did like the two tone leather seats.
