To me if you were swapping wheels for winter than why would anyone consider an A/S tire?
In my case, I chose A/S tire & Wheels because I couldn't leave the PS4S's in my unheated garage all winter. I like to drive when the roads aren't icy or full of snow. Also in Chicago November, December, March & April are borderline too cold and rainy for the PS4S's so the Continental EC DWS seemed to be perfect.
I had 6 years of Winter tire setup on my 15 and for me it was a waste, too noisy and squishy and overkill for much of the winter.

Understood. The Coopers then are not terrible, but if I weren’t going for Michelin’s or Conti’s I would have gone with the Comp-2’s or G-Max. Just MHO. Enjoy your new tires. 👍
So funny, I love the “if I weren’t😂”. Same thing except if I weren’t going with Mich or Cont, the Cooper Zeon A/S are actually decent.

Yeah, I just took the family there for a week Labor day and we had such a great time.
Rented an amazing AirBNB in Waynesville.
The people, the roads, the mountains... I really liked it. Less than 10 hour drive from here.
Only issue is house prices are seriously high!

Yeah...the housing market is sky high. It’s mainly due to people from Florida moving up here. It’s been happening for years. Compare that to the average household income for the various towns.

Lived in Waynesville for 5 years, and now live in Sylva for the last 15 years. Still the going rate for a new home is about 100-130 a sqft which is still nothing compared to California Etc.

Job market is very interesting as well. There are jobs in pretty much in all price ranges depending on education/skill. I know at the Casino here we offer rates that are some of the best in the U.S.

I do low voltage , security, networking, smart home, etc... so I may start my own business doing that kind of stuff.

Interesting, and don’t take my ignorant stab at this as gospel, but I believe you might be on to something in this area.

I know personally that my wife and I are looking at smart home options, cameras etc. It just seems that price and availability have met the value of having video surveillance, and having everything in your house all connected.

I bought a handling pack car and my plan for cold weather is SVE SP2 in 19x10 and Continental DWS06 Plus in 285's on all 4 corners.

It's a booming business right now. The current company I work for has blown away its earnings over the last 2 years than it had for 45 years prior.
I manage our Video Surveillance dept and it's going gangbusters!
I'm sure with all the growth out there that it would be a good business if you hustle.
let me know if you need any advice.

That should work great, especially down in Louisville
